Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 156 posts of Constables/Driver-Cum-Pump-Operator (Driver for Fire Services). CISF IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 156 POSTS OF CONSTABLES/DRIVER-CUM-PUMP-OPERATOR (DRIVER FOR FIRE SERVICES). LAST DATE — 03/10/2015

 

1. Constables/Driver-Cum-Pump-Operator (Driver for Fire Services): 156 Nos. (Gen-80; OBC-42; SC-23; ST-11)

Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board.
The candidate should have a valid driving licence for
(i) Heavy Motor Vehicle or Transport Vehicle;
(ii) Light Motor Vehicle
(iii) Motor cycle with gear

Experience: 03 years experience of driving Heavy Motor Vehicle/Transport Vehicle or Light Motor Vehicle and Motor Cycle as on the closing date for receipt of application

 

Candidates should meets following Physical Standards:

Height – 167 cms (160 cms for ST, Hill areas/NE States)
Chest (unexpanded/ expanded) – 80cms/ 85 cms (76/81 cms for ST) (78/83 cms for Hill areas/NE States)
Weight – Corresponding to height and age as per medical standards
Eye Sight – 6/6 with both eyes in Distant vision and N/6 with both eyes in Near Vision.

Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties

 

Age Limit: Between 21 and 27 years as on 03/10/2015

 

Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- – Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay: Rs.2000/-

 

Upper Age Relaxation: 03 years for OBC, 05 years for SC/ST, 05 years for domicile of J&K, Ex-Serviceman & Others – As per Govt. norms

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Physical Efficiency Test, Documents verification, Written Test, Trade Test and finally Medical Examination.

Candidates should come duly prepared for 8-10 days stay under their own arrangements at the Recruitment Centre.

The posts are temporary but likely to become permanent. The recruitment will be conducted on All India basis.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.50/- as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Indian Postal Order drawn in favour of Officers of the concerned CISF Zone, payable at GPO of concerned zone (See PDF file below for list of Zone and address).

Candidates from West Bengal should prepare the IPO in favour of – Assistant Commandant/DDO CISF North East Zone, Kolkata, and payable at – GPO Kolkata.

NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC/ST AND EX-SERVICEMEN CATEGORIES.

All the testimonials enclosed with the Application form should be attested by Gazetted Officers only. Application should be sent so as to reach the concerned DIG of CISF (See PDF file given below) by 03-10-2015 and in case of residents of North East region by 10-10-2015.

Two additional self signed (in the front) passport size photographs are required to be attached duly clipped alongwith application form.

Candidates must also enclose 02 Self-Addressed envelope with the Application Form affixed with postage stamp of Rs.22/- on each
