Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), under Ministry of Home Affairs, is recruiting 597 Head Constable (Ministerial) through direct recruitment basis. Both male and female candidates may apply. CENTRAL INDUSTRIAL SECURITY FORCE (CISF) INVITES APPLICATION FOR 597 HEAD CONSTABLE (MINISTERIAL) POSTS. LAST DATE – 07/03/2015 (14.03.15 for far flung areas)

 

Name of the Post: HEAD CONSTABLE (Ministerial)
Number of Vacancies: 597 posts. (UR—299; OBC—157; SC—86; ST—55). Out of total 10% vacancies is reserved for Ex-Servicemen.

 

Educational Qualification: Intermediate or Senior Secondary (10+2) pass from recognized board/university or equivalent.
Other Essential Qualification: Candidates shall possess Typing speed of 35 words per minute in English and 30 words per minute in Hindi on Computer for duration of 10 minutes. Typing test will be conducted during selection step of the candidates.

 

Age Limit: Between 18 to 25 years as on 07.03.2015. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; Domicile of J&K—05yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

 

Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2400/- per month.

 

Physical Standards: Candidates shall meet the following standards —

Male Candidates: Height—165cms (162.5cms for ST candidates); Chest (Unexpanded/ Expanded)—77/82 cms (76/81 cms for ST candidates)

Female candidates: Height—155 cms (150 for ST); Chest – Not applicable.

Weight – Corresponding to height and age as per medical standards.

Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties

For cut-off in physical standards in case of candidates from Hill areas and Candidates falling in the categories of Garhwalis, Kumaonis, Gorkhas, Dogras, Marathas and candidates belonging to the states of Sikkim, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kashmir and Leh & Laddakh regions of J&K, please refer the advt. link given below.

For selection of candidates there will be Physical Standard test, Written Examination, Computer Typing Test and Medical Examination. Recruitment will be done all India basis.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Application Fee of Rs.50/- in form of Postal Order drawn in favour of concerned Recruitment Zone (See PDF file below for list of addresses). Candidates applying from West Bengal may prepare the Postal Order in favour of Asst. Comdt (DDO), CISF NE Zone Kolkata, payable at GPO Kolkata.

Candidates must enclose three self-addressed envelopes (12×27 cms) with the Application form. Out of three envelopes, two envelopes must be affixed with postal stamp of Rs.22/-

The application containing envelope must be superscribed with – “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF HEAD CONSTABLE (MINISTERIAL) 2015”.
