Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) is recruiting 19 “ASI (Fitter/ Motor Mechanic/ Auto Electrician)”. Eligible and interested candidates may apply on prescribed Application format. Only Male candidates may apply. Qualification requirement and No. of vacancies available is given below. Last date of application- 05-02-2013.—
1. ASI (Fitter/ Motor Mechanic/ Auto Electrician): 19 Nos. (Gen—10; OBC—5; SC—3; ST—1)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent
And Certificate course from ITI in the trade of – Fitter/ Electrician/ Motor Mechanic or equivalent with 3yrs experience in the relevant fields.
OR 3yrs of Diploma in Mechanical/ Automobiles/ Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Age Limits: between 18yrs to 25yrs as on 05-02-2013. Upper age relaxation for OBC—3yrs; SC/ST—5yrs and Others—as per norms.
Pay scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade pay: Rs.2800/- per month plus other allowances.
Selected candidates will be posted anywhere in the country. The posts are temporary but likely to become permanent.
Physical Standard:—
Height—170 cms (165cms for hilly areas candidates/North Eastern States; 162.5cms for Tribals/ Adivasis including Mizos and Nagas)
Chest (Unexpanded/ Expanded) : 81—86 cms (77—82 cms for Tribals/ Adivasis including Mizos and Nagas)
Weight: Correspondence to height and age as per medical standard.
The candidates must not have knock-knees, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and any other obvious deformities. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Selection of the candidates will be through Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Examination, Trade Test and Medical Examination.
The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will consist of 1.6 Kms. Run to be completed within 6.5 minutes.
Qualified candidates will sit for Written Examination.
The written examination shall consist of only one objective type paper containing 100 questions and carrying 100 marks in following subjects—(i) General Intelligence and Reasoning, (ii) General Knowledge and General Awareness, (iii) Elementary Mathematics and (iv) English/ Hindi.

The Application Form along with requisite application fees of Rs.50/- (Rupees fifty only) in the form of Postal Order drawn in favour of the officer of the respective Unit (For list of address, please visit the below given link).
No application fee is applicable for SC/ST candidates and Ex-Servicemen
Application form should be enclosed with attested copies of testimonials in support of Qualification, Age, Caste, Etc, A self addressed envelopes (8 x 19 Cms size) duly affixing postal stamps for Rs.22/- and Two additional self signed (in the front) passport size photographs.
Last Date of Application: Application must reach on or before 5th February 2013 (12/02/2013 in case of candidates of North East Region)
