Educational Qualification for CIT Recruitment 2024
Deputy Registrar
Candidates have to complete a Master’s Degree or equivalent in any discipline with at least 55% marks from any recognized University/ Institute.
Junior Assistant
Candidates need to have finished high school (that’s 10+2) from a recognized Board. Also, you should be able to type at least 35 words per minute and be good at using computers for writing and spreadsheets.
Accountant
You should have a Master’s degree in Commerce (that’s M. Com.) or something similar from a recognized university. Plus, you need to have worked as a Junior Accountant for 2 years.
Junior Accountant
M. Com. or equivalent qualification from a recognized university with 01 year experience as a Junior Assistant OR B. Com. or equivalent qualification from a recognized university with 03 years experience as a Junior Assistant.
Assistant Librarian
- Candidates need to have finished a Master’s Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation Science with at least 55% of the marks.
- Qualifying in the National Level Test such as NET/ SLET/ SET conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC.
- Minimum 03 years of relevant experience working in an Institute/ University of State/ Centre Govt. organization.
Medical Officer
- M.D. or M.S. in an appropriate branch of Medicine.
OR - Postgraduate Diploma in an appropriate branch of Medicine plus at least one year experience in a recognized hospital.
Staff Nurse
- Candidates have to complete Intermediate (10+2 with Science) or equivalent and must have passed the examination held by the Nursing Council with 3 3-year courses in General Nursing and Midwifery with at least 55% marks from a recognized Board/ Institute.
- Registered as an A-grade Nurse with the Nursing Council.
- At least 03 years of relevant experience in a hospital.
Pharmacist
- Degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharma) from a recognized University / Institute with at least 55% marks plus 02 years of relevant experience.
OR - Three years Diploma (after 10+2) in Pharmacy from a recognized University/ Institute with at least 55% marks plus 03 years of relevant experience.
- Should be registered as a ‘Pharmacist’ under the Pharmacy Act, of 1948.
Executive Engineer
- A Master’s Degree or equivalent in Engineering (Electrical/Civil Engineer) from a recognized university/ Institute with at least 55% marks in the qualifying degree.
OR - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering (Electrical/Civil Engineering) from a recognized University/ Institute with at least 55% marks in the qualifying degree.
Security Officer
- Candidates should have completed a Graduate in any discipline from a reorganized University/ institute and 05 years of relevant experience.
- Candidates Should have Military or NCC & Fire Fighting Training, Risk & Disaster Management Training/First Aid.
Application Fee or Processing Fee
Interested and eligible candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. 500/- for SC, ST, and PwD) is to be paid online mode only.
Selection Process for this CIT Non-Teaching Vacancies
- The selection process will be through a screening test or an interview.
- All original documents will have to be produced at the time of the screening test/interview for
verification. - The appointment of the selected candidates is subject to be found physically fit and sound in health for the service in the Institute which shall be examined through medical examination by the Medical Board/Senior Medical Officer/Medical Officer of the Institute as the case may be. The
Medical examination shall be undertaken before joining the post.

- Applications must be submitted in the prescribed format as provided in the online recruitment portal (www.cit.ac.in).
- Persons serving in Govt./PSUs/Autonomous Organizations, are also required to submit the applications in the online portal by uploading a copy of the No Objection Certificate (NOC). However, this will be treated as an advance copy.
- These applicants should forward the printout of completed application along with the hard copy of the NOC THROUGH PROPER CHANNEL within 10 days of the last date of submission of Application Form to the Registrar, Central Institute of Technology Kokrajhar, Balagaon, Kokrajhar, BTR, Assam 783370. The candidate will have to superscribe “Application for the post of _______” on the top of the envelope in capital letters.
