1. CIVIC VOLUNTEERS

Unit wise vacancies:
i) North & North Suburban Division, Kolkata Police- 25 posts (Women)
ii) South Division, Kolkata Police- 25 posts (Women)
iii) Central Division, Kolkata Police- 25 posts (Women)
iv) Port Division, Kolkata Police- 25 posts (Women)
v) Eastern Suburban Division, Kolkata Police- 25 posts (Women)
vi) South East Division, Kolkata Police- 25 posts (Women)
vii) South Suburban Division, Kolkata Police- 25 posts (Women)
viii) South West Division, Kolkata Police- 25 posts (Women)
ix) East Division, Kolkata Police- 25 posts (Women)
x) Kolkata Mounted Police- 15 posts (Men/ Women)
Educational Qualification:
i) Class VIII pass.
ii) Preference would be given to the applicants who have done well in sports and have experience as NCC Cadet/ Boy Scouts/ NSS Guide/ Civil Defence Volunteers etc.
iii) Should not have any criminal record against his/her in any Police Station.
iv) Should be physically and mentally fit.
v) Preferably a resident of the area under the Kolkata Police jurisdiction.
vi) Candidates applying for Kolkata Mounted Police need to be willing to work with animals and have experience in this regard.
Age Limit: Minimum 20 years and maximum 60 years as on 01/01/2019.
The vacancies are under different units of Kolkata Police. Both Men and Women candidates are eligible to apply.
The selected candidates will undergo a two weeks’ Training course.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Interview.

Last Date and Address: The duly filled Application form along with enclosures should be submitted Personally in the Drop Box kept in the concerned Divisional/ Unit office (see the Official Advt. for more details), on or before 04/02/2019 by 05:00 PM.
Candidates can apply for only one Unit.
