No. of Vacancies: 87 Nos. (By Direct Recruitment- 70 posts, by Transfer- 17 posts)
Educational Qualification: i) (a) Must possess a Degree in Law of a recognized University or Institution and enrolled in the Bar Council of Telangana or in the Bar Council of any other State.
(b) Must have been practicing as an Advocate or Pleader in any Court for a period of not less than 03 years.
OR
ii) Must be a Law Graduate possessing a Degree in Law from a recognized University, who is eligible to to enrolled as an Advocate and who has secured an overall 60% and above marks in acquiring such Law Degree in case of open categories and 55% and above marks for other reserved categories and has not enrolled as an Advocate. Candidate must have obtained Degree of Law within a period of 03 years prior to the date of Notification.
OR
iii) Persons who have enrolled as an Advocate, but do not possess 03 years practice at the Bar would be eligible to apply under the category of fresh Law Graduates.
Age Limit: Minimum 25 years and below 35 years/ Minimum 23 years and maximum 26 years as on 10/07/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.27700 — Rs.44770
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ ST/ SEBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
The posts are in Telangana State Judicial Service.
All the candidates applying for the post of Civil Judge must be able to read and write Telugu language.
Reserved Category candidates from the states other than Telangana will be treated as General Category candidates.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Screening Test (Computer Based Test), Written Examination and Viva-Voce. The Screening Test (Computer Based Test) will be conducted on 03/05/2020 in the following centers- Hyderabad, Warangal, Karimnagar and Khammam.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Application Fee of Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ ST categories). Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO HIGH COURT OF TELANGANA AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
