Recruitment of Clerical Cadre Post in Central bank of India: 1163 Vacancies.

Central government’s- Central bank of India is recruiting 1163 males/females in clerical cadre’s post. You can apply for the post if you meet any one of the below mentioned qualification.

Required qualification:

(i). Madhyamik Pass with minimum 60% (50% in case of SC, PH and Ex-serviceman).

“Or”

(ii). Higher Secondary pass with minimum 50% for Gen candidates. (SC, PH or ex-serviceman: Pass only)

“Or”

(iii). Degree in any stream

Additional qualification: Should have knowledge in computer. Those who do not know computer can also apply if they can complete computer’s knowledge within six months from the day of getting the job.
The candidates can have ability to read, write and speak the official language of the State for which they apply.

Age limit: 18yrs to 28yrs as on 01-11-2010 (OBC-3yrs, ST/SC-5yrs and PH-10yrs relaxation). Widow and divorcee women (legally separated) who have not re-married can get 9yrs age relaxable and for Ex-serviceman is as per rule.

Pay scale: Rs. 7200- 19300. Starting salary almost Rs. 11000/-

Written Test:

a. Objective tests: The Objective tests consists of (i) Test of Reasoning Ability (ii) Test of English Language (iii) Test of Numerical Ability (iv) Test of Clerical Aptitude. There will be negative marks for the wrong answers in the objective test. The candidates shall be required to qualify in the objective test separately. Test of English is qualifying and carries no Weight age in the total marks for the written test. The time duration will be 95 minutes and each Test will be of 50 Questions.

b. Descriptive Test- It will consist of 5 compulsory questions with internal options, to assess knowledge on Socio-Economic Developments and Communication skills. The descriptive test is only a qualifying test.

Some general Information:

Candidates have option to answer Descriptive Tests paper either in English or Hindi or in the official Language of the state/Union Territory for which they have applied.

Candidates have to pass in each of the objective & Descriptive Test separately.

Depending upon the number of candidates against the vacancies only those candidates, who rank sufficiently high in the objective test will be called for interview. Mere eligibility/pass in the test shall not vest any right in a candidate for being called for interview.

The recruitment would be on State-wise basis. Candidates can apply for vacancies in one State only and have to appear for the examination from a center of that particular State.

Before applying online keep the following things ready or make the following preparation before filling the form through online.

1. Deposit Rs. 250 (SC/ST, OBC & Ex-serviceman: Rs 50/-) from C.B.S. branch of Central bank. Deposit the amount through Payment receipt and take back the tear portion with ‘Cash receipt’ Stamp and signature. You should mention clearly each detail on the receipt like- Branch name, transaction ID, date of deposit and amount.

2. You should have your valid e-mail ID, if you do not have any email id, you can create a new one from Yahoo or Google.

Once you are ready with this; visit the official website of Central Bank of India (http://www.centralbankofindia.co.in/) , click the link ‘Career’ on the top menu of bank website and you will be taken to the form page. Now mention all the details requires in the form and submit. Once submit; you will be asked to make printout of the application. Print the application and keep it with you. Do not post it.

Write all the details accurately, after submission of forms it can’t be editable and submission of Application form more than once can make cancellation of your name.
