Punjab and Haryana High Court is recruiting 163 boys/girls for the post of Clerk. Graduate Pass in Science or Arts stream’s candidates with knowledge in computer can apply for the post. On computer candidates should have full skill to work on Word processing and Spread sheet. Details were given below.
Name of Post: Clerk
No. of Vacancies: 163 posts (GEN- 134; OBC/ SC/ST- 16; PH- 5 and Ex-serviceman-8)
Qualification: Candidates with Graduate pass in Arts or Science can apply for the post.
Essential qualification: Candidates should full knowledge in computer operation and can have ability to work on Word processing and Spreadsheet.
Age Limit: should be between 18yrs to 27yrs (Relaxable age for OBC/SC/ST: 5yrs; PH/Ex-serviceman: as per norms.)
Pay Scale: Rs. 5910 to 20200 Per month, Grade Pay: Rs.1900
Selection Procedure: Candidates selection will be held through Written Examination. First written test will be on following subject (i) General Knowledge, (ii) Numerical Ability, (iii) General English, (iv) Reasoning, (v) Clerical Aptitude, (vi) General Intelligence and (vii) General Awareness.
Selected candidate from the written test will be shortlisted to attend on 2nd written test. This test will be consist 200 nos. questions and time allotted will be 120 minutes. Questions will be on following papers (i) General English of 50 marks, (ii) English composition of 150 marks, (iii) Precise writing of 50marks and (iv) Hindi of 50 marks. Wrong answer will attract negative marks of 0.25.
And then finally there will be Interview of 50 marks. Computer/Typing skill will be tested. Candidates should have minimum speed of 30 words per minutes on computer keyboard.
