Central Government of India- Union Bank of India is recruiting 1640 Males/Females in Post of Clerk cum Cashier. If you meet any below mentioned qualification then you can apply for the Post.

Qualification: Higher Secondary pass with minimum 60% (For SC/ST, PH & Ex-serviceman: 55%) “OR” Degree in any Stream.

Additional Qualification: Should have basic knowledge in computer (like- M.S. Word, Excel, Spread sheet, Internet, E-mail and etc) or if you do not have knowledge in computer then you can apply only if you can manage to learn it within six months from the date of getting the job.
You should have ability to read and write the official language of that state for which you apply.

Age Limit: 18- 28yrs (OBC: 3yrs; SC/ST: 5yrs; PH: 10yrs) Widow and divorcee women (legally separated) who have not re-married can get 9yrs age relaxable and for Ex-serviceman is as per rule.

Pay scale: Rs. 7200- 19300. Starting salary almost Rs. 11000/-

Mode of selection:
Written test will be held on 6 Feb-2011 at their respective centers. Question will be Objective types on following four papers (i) Test of Reasoning ability, (ii) Test of Numerical ability, (iii) Test of General awareness and (iv) Test of English Language. On each topic, there will be 50nos questions and time allowed will be 95 minutes. Beside this there will be objective types question on Computer’s Basic of 50 Marks and time allowed will be 30 minutes.
There will be negative marking on wrong answers and candidates will have to score 40% on each subject/topic (35% for reserved candidates)

Selected candidates from written examination will be called for Interview, which will be of 50 marks.

Candidates will have to submit Online application only through official website of Union Bank: http://www.unionbankofindia.co.in/. Visit the website >> Click the link “Career” on the top of the webpage.

Important Note:

  • Candidates should have valid E-mail ID of their own; those who do not have can create a new one through Yahoo or Google.
  • Candidates will have to deposit application fee of Rs-300 (No fee in case of ST/SC & Ex-serviceman). First visit Bank’s website then click the link ‘Union Bank Recruitment Project-2009’ a new page will open. Now from this page choose to print out ‘Recruitment Application Fee Payment Challan’.
  • With this printed challan, visit any branch of Union Bank and deposit the amount in cash.
  • After depositing the application fee, revisit the Bank’s website and fill-up the online application form. After submitting the form you will be given system generated application registration No and Password. Now print the two copies of computerized system generated application form.
  • Affix one recent passport size photograph on proper place and signature the form, this will be required during Interview along with other documents of yours. Keep one copy for yourself for further use.
  • After submitting the Online application form, you will not required to send anything through Post office.
  • Do not submit more than one application for the same Post.
