JUNIOR CLERK TRAINEE/ LOWER DIVISION ASSISTANT TRAINEE
No. of Vacancies: 45 Nos. (UR-25, ST-12, SC-05, SEBC-03)
Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline with one year Diploma in Computer Application or equivalent from recognized Institute.
OR
Diploma in Office Management from recognized Institute with one year Diploma in Computer Application or equivalent from recognized Institute.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 32 years as on 01/03/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.26,400/- to Rs.83,600/-
2. STENO-COM-COMPUTER ASSISTANT TRAINEE
No. of Vacancies: 07 Nos. (UR-04, ST-01, SC-01, SEBC-01)
Educational Qualification: i) Graduate in any discipline.
ii) Shorthand in English @ 80 WPM.
iii) Typing in English 40 WPM and 20 WPM in Odia.
iv) One year Diploma in Computer Application or equivalent from recognized Institute.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 32 years as on 01/03/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.29,200/- to Rs.92,300/-
Note: The candidate must be able to read, write and speak Odia fluently, and must have-
a) Passed Middle School examination with Odia as a language subject, or
b) Passed HSC or equivalent examination with Odia as a medium of examination in non-language subject, or
c) Passed in Odia as Language subject in the final examination of Class VII from a school or educational institution recognized by the Govt. of Odisha or the Central Govt., or
d) Passed a test in Odia in Middle School Standard conducted by the School & Mass Education Department of Govt. of Odisha.
The selected candidates will be on Training for a period of One year. During the training period, candidates will be paid Consolidated Stipend of Rs.13,500/- & Rs.14,500/- per month for the post of Junior Clerk Trainee/ Lower Division Assistant Trainee and Steno-com-Computer Assistant Trainee respectively. On successful completion of the training will be placed under Probation for a period of One year.
The candidates will be posted at any of the Units/ Project Sites and Offices of Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Limited (OHPCL) and its subsidiaries.
Reserved Category candidates from the States other than Odisha shall be treated as General Candidates.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Computer Based Test (CBT) and Skill Test. The Computer Based Test (CBT) will be held tentatively in the Month of May, 2019. Computer Based Test (CBT) will be held at Bhubaneswar/ Cuttack. The Skill Test will be conducted at Bhubaneswar only.
