1. RESEARCH OFFICER (RO)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (OBC)
Educational Qualification: i) Atleast 2nd Class Master’s Degree of a recognized University or equivalent in Science/ Art/ Edu./ Commerce. ii) Must have taken Urdu as optional subject at Degree level in the case of M.A. & at High School/ Higher Secondary level in the case of M.Sc.
Experience: Five years experience in teaching/ research or translation/ editing/ terminological work in Urdu and General Administration.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as on 29/07/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs. 47600-151100/-
2. LOWER DIVISION CLERK (LDC)
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (OBC-01, EWS-01)
Educational Qualification: i) Matriculation or equivalent. ii) On manual typewriter 25 w.p.m. or on computer 30 w.p.m. in English.
Desirable: i) Urdu/ Hindi Typing on manual type writer 25 w.p.m. or on computer 30 w.p.m.
ii) Working knowledge of Urdu/ Hindi.
iii) Knowledge of Computer Operation.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 29/07/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.19000-63200/-
3. MULTI TASKING STAFF (MTS)
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos. (UR-01, OBC-01, EWS-01)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent.
Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates having Urdu subject at Matriculation level or one year Diploma/ Certificate in Urdu from any Govt. Institutions.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 29/07/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs. 18000-56900/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any as per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Test or Online Examination.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.500/- as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Demand Draft drawn in favour of Director, National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language, New Delhi, payable at New Delhi. The name and address of the candidates should be written on the reverse side of the Demand Draft.
NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF PWD AND FEMALE CANDIDATES.
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language (NCPUL) — www.urducouncil.nic.in (See Application form’s link given below) on or before 29/07/2019.
Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it in two copies on plain A4 size paper. One copy of the print-out must be retained by the candidate for future references and the other copy is to be send along with attested copies of testimonials (qualification certificate/mark sheet, age proof, caste certificate, experience certificate if applicable and etc), at the below given address so as to reach on or before 08/08/2019 upto 04:00 PM.
