NAME OF THE SPORTS AND VACANCIES:
Total Vacancies: 10 Nos.
i) Basketball (Men): 02 posts
ii) Hockey (Men): 02 posts
iii) Kabaddi (Men): 01 post
iv) Volley Ball (Women): 02 posts
v) Volley Ball (Men): 01 post
vi) Table Tennis (Women): 02 posts
NAME OF THE POSTS & QUALIFICATION:
1. SENIOR CLERK
Educational Qualification: Degree from recognized University.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2020.
3. JUNIOR CLERK
Educational Qualification: 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2020.
4. TECHNICIAN GR.III
Educational Qualification: 10th Standard pass, the training period for such sports quota appointees will be 03 years, unless they possess ITI qualification in the relevant Engineering trades, in which case it will be 06 months.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years as on 01/01/2020.
Pay Scale (for all the posts): Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.1900/ 2800/-.
SPORTS QUALIFICATION:
A) For Pay Band Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.2800/-:
i) Represented the Country in Olympics Games (Senior Category)
OR
ii) Atleast 3rd position in any of the following:
a) World Cup (Junior/ Senior Category),
b) World Championships (Junior/ Senior Category),
v) Asian Games (Senior Category),
d) Common Wealth Games (Senior Category) except Gold Medal in Asian Games.
B) For Pay Band Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade Pay Rs.1900/-:
i) Represented the country in any of the following:
a) World Cup (Junior/Senior Category),
b) World Championships (Junior/Senior Category),
c) Asian Games (Senior Category),
d) Common wealth Games (Senior Category)
OR
ii) At least 3rd Position in any of the following:
a) Commonwealth Championship (Junior/Senior Category),
b) Asian Championships/ Asia Cup (Junior/Senior Category),
c) South Asian Federations (SAF) Games (Senior Category),
d) USIC (World Railways) Championships (Senior Category).
OR
iii) At least 3rd Position in Senior/ Youth/ Junior National Championships.
OR
iv) At least 3rd Position in National games organized under the aegis of Indian Olympics
Association.
OR
v) At least 3rd Position in All India Inter University Championship organized under the
ageis of Association of Indian Universities.
OR
vi) 1st Position in the Federation Cup Championship (Senior category).
Note: The Sports achievements on or after 01/04/2017 will only be considered.
The vacancies are for recruitment against Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) for the year 2019-20 in the above mentioned games/ events in Integral Coach Factory.
The selected candidates will be on Probation for two years.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Trials and Personal Interview. The Trials will be held from 24/09/2019 to 26/09/2019. For details please see the Official Advt.
