Educational Qualification for CMRL Recruitment 2023
(1) General Manager (Maintenance):- Candidates must have a / B. Tech (EEE/Mech) degree from a Govt recognized Institute/University. Incumbents should have a minimum of 20 years of post-qualification experience in the maintenance of any major infrastructure project.
(2) Project Manager:- Candidates must have a / B. Tech (Civil) graduate from a Govt recognized Institute/University. The incumbent should have a minimum of 20 years of post-qualification experience. Out of 20 years of experience, a minimum of 5 years of experience should be exclusively in infrastructure construction.
(3) Joint Project Manager (Structures):- Candidates must have a B.E/B.Tech (Civil) graduate from a government-recognized University/Institute. candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of post-qualification experience in planning.
(4) Deputy Project Manager (Construction):- Candidates must have a B.E/ B.Tech (Civil) Graduate from a government-recognized University/Institute. candidate should have a minimum of 13 years of post-qualification experience.
(5) Deputy Project Manager (Architect):- Candidates Must be a B. Arch graduate from a government-recognized Institute / University approved by AICTE / UGC. The incumbent should have a minimum of 13 years of post-qualification experience.
(6) Deputy Manager (Transport Planning):- Candidates Must be an M.E / M.Tech (Transportation Planning / Transportation Engineering / Traffic Engineering / Urban Engineering) from a recognized Institute / University, approved by AICTE /UGC. The candidate should have a minimum post-qualification experience of 4 years in the execution of
large Transportation infrastructure projects and also involved in city-level Transportation studies such as CCTS, CMP, Feasibility, DPR, etc.
(7) Fire Safety Officer / Consultant (Fire Safety):- Candidates Must be a Graduate from a government-recognized Institute / University approved by AICTE / UGC. A Diploma / Advance Diploma / Degree shall be from a recognized institute.

Selection Process for CMRL Recruitment 2023
The selection process of candidates consists of a two-stage process, interview followed by a medical examination selection process will judge the candidate on various aspects like knowledge, skills, understanding, attitude, aptitude, and physical fitness.

1) Eligible and interested candidates should apply online through the CMRL website only www.careers.chennaimetrorail.org
2) The candidate must have a valid email ID. Email ID registered on The Portal will be used only for further correspondence by CMRL.
3) A registration link will be sent to the candidate’s registered email ID. Candidates have to click on the verify button to authenticate their email ID. Users will be redirected to the CMRL career page to log in and apply.
4) Candidates have to fill in all the details in each section and confirm the upload.
5) After applying online on the CMRL career website, candidates should save the online application form on their computer, attach their last passport-size photograph and hard copy of the application along with educational qualification certificate, experience certificate, self-attested copy of birth certificate, community certificate and other supporting documents should be sent through forwarding authority to the address given below on or before 28.12.2023.
