Coal India Limited (CIL) is recruiting 339 Management Trainees in different discipline, namely – Environment, Sales & Marketing, Personnel, Finance, Community Development and Materials Management. DISCIPLINE WISE DISTRIBUTION OF VACANCIES:
1. Environment: 72 Nos. (Gen—40; SC—10; ST—5; OBC—17)
2. Sales & Marketing: 31 Nos. (Gen—10; SC—5; ST—2; OBC—14)
3. Personnel: 26 Nos. (Gen—23; SC—0; ST—3; OBC—0)
4. Finance: 73 Nos. (Gen—36; SC—16; ST—21; OBC—0)
5. Community Development: 120 Nos. (Gen—62; SC—17; ST—9; OBC—32)
6. Materials Management: 17 Nos. (Gen—10; SC—03; ST—0; OBC—04)
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION AS PER DISCIPLINE WISE:
1. Environment: Degree in Environmental Engg. with minimum 60% marks Or any Engg. Degree with PG Degree/Diploma in Environmental Engg from a recognized University/Institute with minimum 60% marks.
2. Finance & Accounts: Qualified CA/ ICWA
3. Personnel: Graduates with at least two years full time Post Graduate degree /PG Diploma/Post Graduate Program in Management with specialization in HR/Industrial Relations/Personnel Management or MHROD or MBA or Master of Social work with specialization in HR
4. Community Development: Minimum two years Full time Post graduate degree or Post graduate diploma of two years duration in Community development/ Rural Development/ Community Organization and Development practice/ Urban and Rural Community development/ Rural and Tribal development/ Development Management/ Rural Management
OR
Minimum 2 yrs full time Post Graduate degree in Social Work with specialization community development/ / Rural Development/ Community Organization and Development practice/ Urban and Rural Community development/ Rural and Tribal development/ Development Management
5. Materials Management: Engineering degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with MBA/ PG Diploma in Management with minimum 60% marks.
NOTE:
The above minimum marks are for Unreserved & OBC (Non Creamy Layer) category candidates. For SC/ST & Persons with disability (Minimum 40% disability), 5% relaxation in qualification is given in minimum marks
Final year / semester students can also apply provided they get their final results before the date of personal interview
AGE LIMIT:
Maximum 30 years as on 01/04/2014. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.
CANDIDATES’ SELECTION:
Selection will be through All India Selection Test and candidates qualifying in the written test will be called for Personal Interview.
Written Test will be held at following centres — Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Bhubaneswar, Bhopal and Guwahati.
Date and exact venue of selection test will be intimated in due course. Tentative date of Written test is 08th June,2014.

APPLICATION FEE:
General and OBC candidates shall pay Application Fee of Rs.500/- through any branches of State Bank of India by means of fee payment challan, in a specially opened Power Jyoti Account (See PDF file below).
SBI Fee payment challan shall be downloaded from the website of CIL during submission of online application.
NO APPLICATION FEE FOR SC/ST AND PH CANDIDATES.
HOW TO APPLY:
Interested and eligible candidates shall have to apply through online registration system of Coal India (See the live URL to Application form given below), from dated 17th March,2014 to 14th April, 2014.
Candidates will have to register for the online application before starting to fill the application form. On clicking the “Apply Online” link the registration page will open. Detailed instructions for filling the form will be given under the “Instructions” link above the Registration page.
Before starting to fill the online application form candidates should keep the application fee payment through SBI challan details ready
After applying online, candidate is required to print the application form with unique registration number generated by the system. Candidates are required to send the hard copy of the application form along with required enclosures (self attested recent passport size photograph securely pasted in the space provided on the application form, Company’s copy of the SBI challan (in original), qualifying degree provisional or degree certificate, caste/disability certificate wherever applicable by speed post to— General Manager (Personnel/Recruitment) Coal India Limited, 10 Netaji Subhas Road, Kolkata-700001 on or before 28th April 2014.
