1. SENIOR PROJECT OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 20 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Mechanical– 12 posts (UR-08, OBC-03, SC-01)
ii) Electrical– 04 posts (UR-03, OBC-01)
iii) Electronics– 02 posts (UR)
iv) Civil- 02 posts (UR)
Educational Qualification: Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Civil Engineering with 60% of marks
from a recognized University.
Experience: Minimum four years post qualification experience/ training in a Shipyard/ Port/ Marine Engineering Training Institute/ Heavy Engineering Company.
Proficiency and experience of working in a computerized environment would be an added advantage.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 30.04.2018.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.38,000/- for 1st year, Rs.39,000/- for 2nd year & Rs.40,000/- for 3rd year per month. per month.
2. PROJECT OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 21 Nos.
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Mechanical– 10 posts (UR-07, OBC-02, SC-01)
ii) Electrical- 06 posts (UR-05, OBC-01)
iii) Electronics- 03 posts (UR)
iv) Civil- 02 posts (UR)
v) Instrumentation- 01 post (UR)
Educational Qualification: Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Civil/ Instrumentation Engineering with 60% of marks from a recognized University.
Experience: Minimum two years post qualification experience/ training in a Shipyard/ Port/ Marine Engineering Training Institute/ Heavy Engineering Company.

Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 30.04.2018
Consolidated Pay: Rs.30,000/- for 1st year & Rs.31,000/- for 2nd year per month. per month.
Note: Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category who have secured 55% marks and above in the qualifying examination will also be considered.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Personal Interview. Interview will be held at Cochin Shipyard Limited, Kochi. Selected candidates will be appointed on Contract basis for a period of three years for the post of Senior Project Officer and two years for the post of Project Officer in Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), P&A Department.
