1. SENIOR PROJECT OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 06 Nos. (UR-05, SC-01)
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Mechanical: 02 posts
ii) Electrical: 01 post
iii) Electronics: 01 post
iv) Civil: 02 posts
Educational Qualification: Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Civil Engineering with 60% of marks from a recognized University.
Experience: i) Minimum 04 years post qualification experience/ training in a Shipyard/ Port/ Marine Engineering Training Institute/ Heavy Engineering Company.
ii) Proficiency and experience of working in a computerized environment would be advantageous.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as on 24/04/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.38,000/- for 1st year, Rs.39,000/- for 2nd year & Rs.40,000/- for 3rd year per month.
2. PROJECT OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 34 Nos. (UR-16, OBC-08, SC-06, ST-02, EWS-02)
Discipline wise vacancies:
i) Mechanical: 20 posts

Educational Qualification: Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Civil/ Instrumentation Engineering with 60% of marks from a recognized University. For Information Technology: Engineering Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology or Masters Degree in Computer Science/ Computer Application/ Information Technology with 60% of marks from a recognized University.
Experience: i) Minimum 02 years post qualification experience. For more details please see the Official Advt and (ii) Proficiency and experience of working in a computerized environment would be advantageous.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 24/04/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.30,000/- for 1st year, Rs.31,000/- for 2nd year & Rs.32,000/- for 3rd year per month.
Note: For candidates belonging SC/ST/PwBD categories, who have secured 55% marks and above in the qualifying examination will also be considered.
The candidates will be appointed on Contract basis for a maximum period of three (03) years subject to project requirements and performance of the candidates.
The candidates may be posted in any of the divisions/ departments in Cochin Shipyard Limited or at any of its project sites.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Personal Interview. The Personal Interview will be held at Cochin Shipyard Limited, Kochi.
