Total 417 Posts will be filled on the basis of the result of this examination. Both Male and Female candidates are eligible. Total Vacancies: 417 Nos.
Name of the Academy and vacancies:
i) Indian Military Academy, Dehradun- 149th (DE) Course commencing in July, 2020: 100 posts
ii) Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala- Course commencing in July, 2020 Executive (General Service)/ Hydro: 45 posts
iii) Air Force Academy, Hyderabad- (Pre-Flying) Training Course commencing in July, 2020: 32 posts
iv) Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai (Madras)- 112th SSC (Men) Course (NT) commencing in October, 2020: 225 posts
v) Officers Training Academy, Chennai- 26th SSC Women (Non-Technical) Course commencing in October, 2020: 15 posts
Educational Qualification:
i) For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai:- Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.
ii) For Indian Naval Academy:- Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/ Institution.
iii) For Air Force Academy:- Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
Age Limit:
i) For IMA & Indian Naval Academy:- Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 02/07/1996 and not later than 01/07/2001 only are eligible.
ii) For Air Force Academy:- Born not earlier than 02/07/1996 and not later than 01/07/2000.
iii) For Officers’ Training Academy- (SSC Course for men):- Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 02/07/1995 and not later than 01/07/2001.
iv) For Officers’ Training Academy- (SSC Women Non-Technical Course): Born not earlier than 02/07/1995 and not later than 01/07/2001.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will be conducting A Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2019 for admission to various courses in Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officers Training Academy.
Note:-
i) Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable upto 26 years for For Air Force Academy.
ii) Candidate below 25 years of age must be Unmarried for Air Force Academy.
iii) Only Unmarried women, issueless widows who have not remarried and issueless divorcees who have not remarried are eligible to apply for Officers Training Academy SSC Women (Non-Technical) Course.
Candidates possessing professional and technical qualifications which are recognised by govt. as equivalent to professional and technical degrees are also be eligible to apply.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination and Interview. The Written Examination will be held on 08/09/2019 at various centres across India. For more details please see the Official Advt.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs. 200/- as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF FEMALE/SC/ST CANDIDATES.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
