The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will be conducting a Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2020 for admission to various courses at the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officers’ Training Academy. Name of the Course and Approximate No. of Vacancies:
i) Indian Military Academy, Dehradun- 151 (DE) Course commencing in July, 2021: 100 posts (including 13 vacancies reserved for NCC `C’ Certificate (Army Wing) holders).
ii) Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala- Course commencing in July, 2021 Executive (General Service)/ Hydro: 26 posts (including 06 vacancies for NCC ‘C’ Certificate (Naval Wing through NCC Special entry) holders).
iii) Air Force Academy, Hyderabad- (Pre-Flying) Training Course commencing in July, 2021 i.e. No. 210 F(P) Course: 32 posts (including 03 vacancies are reserved for NCC `C’ Certificate (Air Wing) holders through NCC Spl. Entry).
iv) Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai (Madras)- 114th SSC (Men) (NT) (UPSC) Course commencing in October, 2021: 169 posts
v) Officers Training Academy, Chennai (Madras)- 28th SSC Women (NT) (UPSC) Course commencing in October, 2021: 17 posts
Educational Qualification:
i) For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai:- Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.
ii) For Indian Naval Academy:- Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/ Institution.
iii) For Air Force Academy:- Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
Age Limit: Born not earlier than 2nd July, 1997 and not later than 1st July, 2002 (For IMA and Indian Naval Academy)/ Born not earlier than 2nd July, 1997 and not later than 1st July, 2001 (For Air Force Academy)/ Born not earlier than 2nd July, 1996 and not later than 1st July, 2002 (For Officers’ Training Academy).
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will be conducting a Combined Defence Services Examination (II), 2020 for admission to various courses at the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officers’ Training Academy.
Note:- Only Unmarried male and female candidates are eligible to apply.
Candidates who are studying in the final year/ semester Degree course and have yet to pass the final year degree examination can also apply.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination and Interview (Intelligence and Personality Test). The examination will be conducted on 8th November, 2020 at various centres across India. For more details please see the official advt.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Examination Fee of Rs. 200/-. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. NO EXAMINATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF FEMALE/ SC/ ST CANDIDATES.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION (UPSC) AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
