1. COMMUNITY HEALTH OFFICER (FOR GNM/ B.SC NURSING)
No. of Vacancies: 1200 Nos. (UR-425, MBC-228, BC-136, SC-218, ST-14, WBC-34, EWS-145)
Educational Qualification: i) General Nurse and Midwifery (GNM) from a recognised Institute/ Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a recognised University/ Institution.
ii) Candidates should have Permanent registration from Indian Nursing Council/ Any State Nursing Council.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 42 years as on 01/01/2020.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.25000 per month
2. COMMUNITY HEALTH OFFICER (FOR AYURVEDA/ HOMEOPATHY/ UNANI)
No. of Vacancies: 300 Nos. (UR-120, MBC-54, BC-36, SC-48, ST-03, WBC-09, EWS-30)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)/ Bachelor in Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS)/ Bachelor in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) from recognized University/ Institution and candidates should have Permanent registration in State Council of Ayurvedic and Unani Medicine, Bihar, Patna and for Homeopathic doctors, Bihar State Homeopathic Board, Bihar, Patna.
Age Limit: Minimum 21 years and maximum 42 years as on 01/01/2020.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.25000 per month
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for BC/ MBC (Male and Female)/ UR/ EWS (Female) and 10 years for PWD category.
Note: Both Freshers and Working candidates are eligible to apply.
The selected candidates will undergo Six Months Certificate Course in Community Health under National Health Mission which will be conducted by Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). Stipend of Rs.10000/- per month will be paid to the candidates during the course period.
Candidates who successfully complete the course will be posted at Health and Wellness Centres as Community Health Officer (CHO).
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Computer Based Test (CBT).

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen.
