National Health Mission Maharashtra is inviting application from the eligible candidates for 5716 posts of Community Health Officer. The candidates will initially undergo 6/8 months Certificate Programme in Community Health. The candidates who successfully complete the Programme will be posted at Health & Wellness Centres – Sub centres (HWC-SC) as Community Health Officers on Contract basis initially for a period of Eleven (11) months, which may be extended subject to continuation of the project from Government of India and performance of the candidates. Educational Qualification:

i) Bachelors in Ayurvedic Medicine.
ii) Bachelors in Unani Medicine.
iii) Bachelors in Nursing.

Candidates with above mentioned degrees from a recognized University supported by a valid registration from Maharashtra Council of Indian Medicine/ Maharashtra Nursing council are eligible.

 

Age Limit: Maximum 38 years (43 years for Reserved Categories).

 

Consolidated Pay: Rs. 25,000/- per month.

 

The candidates will initially undergo 6/8 months Certificate Programme in Community Health. The candidates who successfully complete the Programme will be posted at Health & Wellness Centres – Sub centres (HWC-SC) as Community Health Officers on Contract basis initially for a period of Eleven (11) months, which may be extended subject to continuation of the project from Government of India and performance of the candidates.

Candidates will be paid a Stipend of Rs. 10,000/- per month during the Certificate Programme.

The candidates will be posted at the following Sub centres in districts- Thane, Raigad, Palghar, Nashik, Nandurbar, Jalgaon, Ahmadnagar, Pune, Satara, Sindhudurg, Latur, Osmanabad, Nanded, Amrawati, Yawatmal, Nagpur, Wardha, Bhandara, Gondia, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli and Sangli.

 

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Entrance Exam. The Entrance Exam will be conducted on 21st July, 2019 in selected exam centres.

Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination/interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course as well as such information will be also available in the official website of National Health Mission Maharashtra — www.nrhm.maharashtra.gov.in

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.150/- (Rs. 100/- for reserved category) as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Demand Draft drawn in favour of respective Deputy Director of Health Services (DDHS).
