COMMUNITY HEALTH OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 180 Nos.
Educational Qualification: General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM)/ Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing)/ MSC Nursing/ Bachelors in Ayurveda from a recognized Institute/ University.
Desirable: i) Proficiency in regional/ local language and dialect.
ii) Work experience in the public health system. Preferably in the primary/ community health centre level.
iii) Two years of relevant work experience in the health sector.
Age Limit: Below 35 years as on 01/12/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.25000 per month.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST category.
The vacancies are for Sub-Centres on Contractual basis under State Health and Family Welfare Society, Tripura, Agartala. The candidates will be appointed for a period of Five (05) years, which may be extended based on the performance till the project period.
The selected candidates will undergo a Six (06) Months Certificate course in Tripura on Community Hearth on January, 2020 session.
The course is part of an initiative under the National Health Mission to strengthen Sub- Centers as Health & Wellness Centers (H&WCs) for improved implementation of public health programme and to enable comprehensive primary health care service delivery.
Candidates who successfully complete this course will be posted at Sub centers as Community Health Officers (CHOs) to lead a primary health care team.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Common Written Test. The Written Test will be conducted on 28th/ 29th December, 2019.
