1. COMPUTER OPERATOR
No. of Vacancies: 76 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Any Bachelor degree in Computer Science/ Computer Applications from a recognized University or any Bachelor Degree in Science, Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Medicine or any other discipline of a recognized University with a Diploma in Computer Applications from any recognized University or Institute, and must have passed the Govt. Technical Examination in Typewriting in English and Tamil by Higher Grade.
Age Limit: Should have completed 18 years and should not have completed 30 years as on 01/07/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.20,600-65,500/-
2. TYPIST
No. of Vacancies: 229 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Any Bachelor Degree in Science, Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Medicine or any other discipline of a recognized University.
ii) Must have passed the Govt. Technical Examination in Typewriting by Higher Grade in Tamil and English.
iii) Must have passed Certificate Course in Computer on Office Automation, conducted bt the Directorate of Technical Education.
Note: i) However, candidates who do not possess the Certificate Course in Computer on Office Automation may also apply.
ii) Those who possess Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or Computer Engineering as one of the subjects are exempted from passing the Certificate Course in Computer on Office Automation, conducted bt the Directorate of Technical Education.
Age Limit: Should have completed 18 years and should not have completed 30 years as on 01/07/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.19,500-62,000/-
3. ASSISTANT
No. of Vacancies: 119 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Any Bachelor Degree in Science, Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Medicine or any other discipline of a recognized University.
ii) Preference will be given to the candidates having qualification in Computer on Office Automation, conducted bt the Directorate of Technical Education or any other Diploma/ Degree course in Computer from a recognized University.
Age Limit: Should have completed 18 years and should not have completed 30 years as on 01/07/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.20,000-63,600/-
4. READER/ EXAMINER
No. of Vacancies: 142 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Any Bachelor Degree in Science, Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Medicine or any other discipline of a recognized University.
Age Limit: Should have completed 18 years and should not have completed 30 years as on 01/07/2019.

5. XEROX OPERATOR
No. of Vacancies: 07 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Any Bachelor Degree in Science, Arts, Commerce, Engineering, Medicine or any other discipline of a recognized University.
Age Limit: Should have completed 18 years and should not have completed 30 years as on 01/07/2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.16,600-52,400/-
The vacancies are in the Madras High Court Service. The candidates will be appointed on Direct Recruitment basis.
The selected candidates will be posted either at the principal seat at Madras or at Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court or Tamil Nadu State Judicial Academy, Chennai or Regional Centre of Tamil Nadu State Judicial Academy at Coimbatore or Madurai and are also liable to be transferred from one place to another.
Reserved Category candidates from the states other than Tamil Nadu/ Union Territory of Puducherry will be treated as General Category candidates.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ SC(A)/ ST/ MBC & DC/ BC/ BCM category.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Written Examination, Skill Test, English Language Proficiency Test and Oral Test wherever applicable. The Written Examination will be held at Chennai and/or any other place as decided by the Madras High Court. The Skill Test, English Language Proficiency Test and Oral Test will be held at Chennai.
