Under Central Govt. Ministry of Home – Central Industrial Security Force is recruiting 1810 Boys as Constable (Driver) and Constable (Driver-cum-Pump Operator). Required qualification, age limits and others were given below:
Madhyamik Pass boys with valid Driving License of Light/Heavy Vehicle and Transport Vehicle can apply for any of one the post.
Candidates should have minimum 3 years of Driving experience in Heavy and Light Vehicle. Experience will be determined according to the issued date of driving license.
Age should be between 20 to 25 years as on 1-4-2011. Age relaxable for ST/SC- 5 yrs, OBC-3yrs and Ex-Serviceman- as per govt. norm
Physical height and measurement: Height- 167 cm and Chest (unexpanded/expanded)-80/85 cm. Body weight should be corresponding to the height and age. Candidates from Assam, Tripura, Gorkha and Sikkim will receive 7 cm in height and 2 cm in Chest as Cutt-Off whereas SC/ST candidates will get cut-off 7 cm in height and 4 cm in Chest. Candidates should be physically fit without any defects.
Eye sight without glass should be 6/6 in distance which can be corrected to 6/9 with glass by both eyes.
Pay scale: Rs.5200-20200 and Grade pay- Rs.2000

For selection of candidates, there will be documents verifying, Physical Ability Test, Trade Test and Written Test.
There will be race of 800 meter within 3 minute 15 seconds and as for Physical Ability Test, there will be Long Jump of 11 feet and High Jump of 3 feet within 3 given chances. As for Trade Test there will be light and heavy vehicle driving test and test on how to tackle mechanical problems on spot. Finally there will be Written Test of 20 marks out of which 10 marks is qualifying marks and then Medical Fitness Test carried by doctors.
Application can be prepared or downloaded as per given format on the above mentioned website. Along with application, following copies of documents should be enclosed (All copies of documents should be Attested by Gazetted Officer only)
- Admit card of Madhyamik for age verification and Educational certificate
- Caste certificate, in case of OBC and SC/ST
- 4 nos. copy of passport size photo, paste one copy on application form and one copy on Admit card and then get attested by gazette officer. Other two copies should be enclosed with the application only after self-signature on it.
- One self- addressed envelope (19X8cm) with affixed postal stamp of Rs. 22
- Valid driving license of light and heavy vehicle
- 3 years driving experience certificate
- Crossed Postal Order of Rs 50. (For West Bengal, Assam, Tripura candidates)—in favour of: “Assistant Commandant /DDO, CISF North East Zone, Kolkata” and Payable at: GPO Kolkata. (For Bihar, Orissa and Jharkhand candidates)- in favour of: “Assistant Commandant/ DDO, CISF East Zone, Patna” and payable at: GPO Patna.
