CONSTABLE (GENERAL DUTY)
No. of Vacancies: 51 Nos.
The vacancies in the following Sports/ Games disciplines: Boxing, Wrestling, Kabaddi, Archery, Volleyball, Sports Shooting and Ice Hockey.
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board.
Sports Qualification: Players who have participated or won medal (s) in the levels of competition mentioned below during the period from 01/01/2018 till 26/08/2020 are eligible to apply:-
a) Olympic Games/ Summer/ Winter
b) World Championship/ World Cup
c) Asian Games/ Commonwealth Games (4 years)
d) Asian Championship/ Cup/ Commonwealth Championship
e) Youth Olympic Games
f) Youth/ Junior Asian Championship & Youth/ Junior Commonwealth Championship
g) SAF Games & any International level recognized by Govt. of India (MYA&S)
h) National Games and Senior National Championship
i) Junior National level Championship/ All India Inter University Tournaments/ Championship/ Khelo India/ Youth Games
j) National School Games

Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and maximum 23 years as on 26/08/2020.
Pay Scale: Rs.21700 — Rs.21700
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category.
The vacancies are under Sports Quota- 2020 in Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) on Temporary basis likely to be made Permanent. Both Male and Female candidates are eligible to apply.
The selected candidates will have to undergo Basic Training and such other courses as prescribed in the Force from time to time.
The above vacancies are not open for Physically challenged persons or Ex-servicemen.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 170 cms (162.5 cms for ST candidates); Chest (unexpanded) — 80 cms (76 cms for ST); Chest (expanded) — 85 cms (81 cms for ST); Weight — Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 157 cms (150 cms for ST candidates); Weight — Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.
Cut-off in Physical Standards: For candidates belonging to certain categories/ communities or of certain States/Areas; the cut-off in such candidate’s Height/ Chest’s measurement will be as per Govt. norms. Please see officially released advertisement for more details.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Documentation, Physical Standard Test (PST) and Detailed Medical Examination.
