Recruitment of 49080 Boys/Girls for the post of Constable (General Duty) in Central Government’s four Para military force, namely- Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Shasastra Seema Bal (SSB) through Staff Selection Commission.
Candidates should be minimum Madhyamik Pass (Class- 10) and Age should be between 18 years to 23 years as on 1-8-2011, i.e. candidates’ birth date should be between 2-8-1988 to 31-7-1993. OBC candidates will receive 3 years, SC/ST will 5 years as relaxable age and Ex-Serviceman will receive as per norms.
Physical Height and Weight in case of Male– 170 cm (ST-162.5 cm and Assam, Tripura, Mizoram and Hilly Region candidates- 165cm) Chest without expanding should be 80 cm and with expanding should be 85 cm (For hill area candidates- 78 cm and 83 cm)
Physical Height and Weight in case of Female– 157 cm (ST-150cm and Assam, Tripura, Mizoram and Hilly Region candidates- 155 cm)
Eye-sight for distance from one eye should be 6/6 and other eye 6/9. Body Weight should be corresponding to Height and Age. Candidates should be physically well built any defects such as wrong eye-sight, broken knees, bow legs, usage of contact lens and etc were not applicable.
Pay scale: Rs. 5200- 20200 per month and Grade Pay- Rs. 2000.

Selection of candidates will be through written test conducted by Staff Selection Commission- “Recruitment of Constable (GD) in BSF, CISF, CRPF and SSB 2011”
For selection first Height and Weight measurement will be taken which may held on the month of march-may, as fitness test for boys there will be a race of 5 KM which should be covered in 24 minutes, For girls the race will be of 1.6 km in 8.30 minutes.
For boys: 11 feet long jump and 3.5 feet high jump in three chances
For Girls: 9 feet long jump and 3 feet High jump in 3 chances
If selected, will be called for written test which may held on 5th of June, questions will be Objective Multiple Choice types of 100 questions of 100 marks from the topics of General Intelligence and Reasoning, General knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics and English/Hindi. Time will be of 2 hours.
Finally there will be Medical Test.

Candidates applying Offline should enclose the following with Application Form:
- One recent passport size photo pasted on the Application form
- Central Recruitment Fee Stamp of Rs.50 which can be bought from post-office. After affixing the stamp on the form, make stamp cancellation from the clerk of the post-office.
Sending more than one application from the same candidates will cause cancellation of all application applied before.
