Central Government of India. Recruitment of 311 Constables (Jobs in Group- C) is going on in Indo- Tibetan Border Police Force. Madhyamik Pass (Matriculation) candidates with I.T.I. can apply for the post. The details given below:
1. Name of Post: Head Constable (Motor Mechanic)
No. of Vacancies: 47 posts (GEN- 11; OBC- 26; SC- 6; ST- 4; Ex-Serviceman -4)
Age Limit: 19yrs-25yrs as on 31-1-2011 (Relaxable age for OBC: 3yrs; SC/ST: 5yrs; Ex-serviceman: as per govt. norms)
Qualification: Madhyamik Pass (Matriculation) with 3 years Diploma in Automobile Engineering can apply, candidates from I.T.I. or from any recognized institute have done trade certificate course in Motor Mechanic and 3 years experience in any workshop can also apply.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 Per month, Grade Pay: Rs.2400
2. Name of Post: Constable (Motor Mechanic)
No. of Vacancies: 15 posts (GEN- 9; OBC- 4; SC- 2)
Qualification: Madhyamik Pass (Matriculation) with Automobile Engineering or Trade certificate course in Motor Mechanic from I.T.I. or from any recognized institute can apply.
Age Limit: 18yrs-15yrs as on 31-1-2011 (Relaxable age for OBC: 3yrs; SC/ST: 5yrs; Ex-serviceman: as per govt. norms)
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200Per month, Grade Pay: Rs.2000
3. Name of Post: Constable (Driver)
No. of Vacancies: 249 posts. (GEN- 100; OBC- 45; SC- 89; ST- 15)
Qualification: Madhyamik Pass (Matriculation) candidates with valid Light, Medium and Heavy Vehicle Driving License and 2 yrs experience of driving can apply for the post.
Age Limit: 20yrs-25yrs as on 31-1-2011 (Relaxable age for OBC: 3yrs; SC/ST: 5yrs; Ex-serviceman: as per govt. norms)
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200Per month, Grade Pay: Rs.2000
Physical Standard: below mentioned were the required physical standard in case of all above mentioned posts.
Height: 170 cm (for SC/ST: 162.5, for Assam, Tripura & North Eastern zone’s candidates: 165 cm)
Chest expanded/ Unexpanded: 85cm/ 80cm (Cut-off for SC/ST: 4 cm; for Assam, Tripura & N.E.Zone: 2cm)
Eye sight: 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes without wearing any glass.
Should be well built without any defect in physical structure/ body like: broken knees, joint etc.
Selection Procedure: selection of candidates will be on basis of physical fitness/ test, Trade test, written test and Medical examination.
First physical test of the followings (i) Race of 1 mile within 6.5 minutes, (ii) 11 feet long jump in 3 chances and (iii) 3 feet high jump in 3 chances. There will be not physical test for ex-serviceman.
Second- Trade test will be held according to post applied for.
Third: Written test will be held. The questions will be of Objective and Descriptive types. In first paper there will be General knowledge/ Language Literature/ General Math of 35 marks and Trade theory of 15 marks. In total of 50 marks and time given will be 2 hours. And then second will be of 50 marks of Practical exam. If selected will be call for Interview of 15 marks. All questions will be set in English.
Finally there will be medical test.

- 2 recent nos passport size photograph affixed on Application form and Admit card and then Attested by Gazetted officers.
- Attested copies of valid Driving License in case of candidates applying for post of Constable (Driver)
