Jammu & Kashmir Police is recruiting some hundreds of Males for the posts of “Constables” in Jammu & Kashmir State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) Battalions in pay scale of Rs.5200—20200+GP plus other allowances. Candidates who are permanent residents of J&K State may apply. Eligibility norms and criteria in brief is given below—
1. Constable in J&K SDRF Battalions
Qualification Required: Candidates must be atleast Matriculation examination passed. Candidates with higher qualification may also apply. (additional marks will be given according to qualification of the candidates).
Age limits: between 18yrs to 28yrs as on 1/1/2012. Upper age relaxation as per norms.
Pay scale: Rs.5200—Rs.20200+ G.P and Other allowances as per norms.
Physical Standards Requirement: —
Height: 5’.6” and above (5’.4” in case of candidates from Leh/ Kargil Districts and Gurkha community.
Chest (expanded): 33.5”
Interested candidates should apply for vacancies available in his district where he resides. Candidates of one district may not apply for another district.
Selection will be through Physical Measurement Test and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Outdoor Test which will be of—
- 1500 Mtrs Race in 6 Minutes
- Long Jump of 12 Feet in 3 chances and
- Pull ups (05)
How to Apply: Apply on prescribed format or prepare the application on plain paper according to the format. Application Form should be enclosed with Attested copies of following document—
Four copies of passport size photographs, Educational Qualification certificates, Age proof/ Birth Certificate, Caste Certificate and any other relevant documents. Please refer the Advt.
Last Date of Application: Application form along with attested copies of documents should reach on or before — 29/09/2012.
