Recruitment of 649 Constable (Driver) in Shasastra Seema Bal (SSB) for Madhyamik Pass Boys.

Under Ministry of Home Affairs—SSB is recruiting 649 Males for the post of Driver from West Bengal, Bihar, Assam, Jharkhand, Tripura along with other states.

Madhyamik pass boys with valid four wheeler driving license can apply for the post. Age should be between 18 to 28 years as on 1-8-2011. There will be age relaxation of 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST. should be 170 cm in Height and Chest, unexpanded/expanded: 80cm/85 cm. weight should be corresponding to weight and height.

Candidates should be physically well built and fit. Pay Scale: Rs.5200-20200 and Grade pay: Rs.2000

Total vacancy: 649 Nos. (Gen-225; OBC-158; SC-217; ST-49) among them 65 nos. for Ex-serviceman.

For selection of candidates, there will be physical ability test, Written, Driving/Technical Test and Medical Test. In Physical Ability Test there will be (I) Race of 1 mile in 6.5 minutes, (II) Long Jump of 11 feet in 3 chances and (III) High Jump of 3 feet within 3 chances.

How to Apply: Application can be prepared as per given format. Along with application, candidates should submit the following documents (All documents should be attested by Gazetted Officer):

• Copy of Madhyamik certificate
• Caste certificate in case of OBC and SC/ST candidates
• 3 nos passport size photo, one copy pasted on application form, one copy on admit card (both copies attested by gazetted officer) and one copy attached along with Application
• Copy of valid Driving License
• 2 Nos. self addressed envelope with postal stamp of Rs.5 on each.
• Bank Draft/Postal Order of Rs.50. Bank draft should be in favour of: Accounts Officer (SSB), O/O IG FTR HQ Patna, and payable at: SBI Patna- 0152.

On the top of envelope, write: Application for the post of constable (Driver).
