695 Boys in Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force as Constable and Head Constable in Telecommunication. For H.S and Matriculation pass boys.

Indo- Tibetan Border Police is going to recruit 695 Boys as Head Constable (Telecommunication) and Constable (Telecommunication). Madhyamik and Higher Secondary pass boys may apply for the post. Details given below:

1. Head Constable (Telecommunication): 609 Nos. (Gen-400, OBC-68, SC-96, ST-45)

Higher Secondary Pass with subjects—Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and have acquired minimum 45% in total on this three subjects may apply for the post.
Madhyamik pass candidates with 2 years Trade Certificate from I.T.I. on Electronics, Electrical or Computer were also eligible to apply.
Higher Secondary boys in Science stream and with 3 years Diploma Course from Polytechnic on Electronics, Communication, Instrumentation, Computer Science, Information Technology or Electrical Engineering were also eligible to apply.

Age should be between 18years to 25years. Pay scale per month will be Rs.5200- 20200 and Grade Pay- Rs.2400.

2. Constable (Telecommunication): (Gen-42, OBC-22, SC-20, ST-2)

Madhyamik pass boys may apply for the post. Diploma or Certificate Course pass from I.T.I. or any recognized Institute is desirable. Age should be between 18yrs to 23 yrs. Pay scale per month will be Rs.5200-20200 and Grade Pay—Rs.2000

For both above mentioned posts, age should calculate as on 10-06-2010. Age relaxation—OBC-3 yrs, SC/ST-5yrs, Serving Staff and Ex-Serviceman: as per govt. norms.

Physical Standard: Height—170 cm (SC/ST: 162.5cm; for candidates from Assam, Tripura and North-Eastern State: 165cm). Weight should be corresponding to the Age and Height. Candidates should be physically fit without any disputes.

For selection of candidates, first height and weight measures and then race of 5 K.M. within 24 minutes. If succeed, documents verification will be done and then Physical Ability Test will be taken. This test will be of 11 feet Long Jump and 3 feet High Jump within 3 chances.

Selected candidates will be called for Written Test which will be consist of—(I) General English, (II) General Hindi, (III) General Awareness, (IV) Quantitative Aptitude and (V) Simple reasoning. Time allotted- 2hrs. There will be Interview of 20 marks and finally medical examination.

How to Apply—Candidates will have to pay Rs. 50 either through Recruitment Fee Stamp/Bank Draft / Postal Order in favour of “Inspector General, North-West Frontier, ITB” and payable at—SBI-AFS Chandigarh Code No. 1495”. There will be no fee for SC/Stand Ex-Serviceman.
