Recruitment of 653 peoples as a Constable (Pioneer) in Indo-Tibet Border Police Force. For I.T.I. and Non I.T.I.

Central governments—under ministry of Home Affairs, Indo-Tibet border police is recruiting 653 peoples from West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand for the post of “Constable (Pioneer)”. Recruitment will be on following trades—Electrician, Plumber, Mason, Carpenter, Painter and Welder.

Total vacant Posts: 653 Nos. vacancies according to Trades is as followings—
1. Electrician: 202 nos. (Gen-102, OBC-55, SC-30, ST-15)
2. Plumber: 196Nos. (Gen-99, OBC-53, SC-29, ST-15)
3. Mason: 104Nos. (Gen-52, OBC-28, SC-16, ST-8)
4. Carpenter: 91Nos. (Gen-45, OBC-25, SC-14, ST-7)
5. Painter: 13Nos. (Gen-6, OBC-4, SC-2, ST-1)
6. Welder: 47Nos. (Gen-23, OBC-13, SC-7, ST-4)
From all the above mentioned posts, 10% is kept reserved for Ex-Serviceman.

Madhyamik pass candidates with working experience in respective trades may apply for the post. Candidates, who have done such trade’s training from I.T.I. or any other recognized institutes, will be given reference first.

Age should be between 18yrs to 23yrs according to dated 16-7-2011. Age relaxation will be given to OBC-3yrs, SC/ST-5yrs.

Physical Height and Weight: Candidates should be minimum 170 cm in height and chest (un-expanded/expanded): 80/85 cm for SC/ST: 76/81 cm. body weight should be corresponding to the Age and Height. Candidates of SC/ST will receive 7.5 cm and candidates of Assam, Tripura and Gorkha will receive 5 cm cut-off in height.

Candidates should be physically fit. Pay scale per month will be Rs. 5200 to Rs.20200 and Grade Pay Rs.2000

For selection of candidates, first height and weight measurement will be taken and then race of 5 KM within 24 Minutes. If selected then Physical Test will be taken, it will be of Long Jump of 11 feet and high Jump of 3.5 feet within 3 chances.
Selected candidates will sit for Written Test, Trade Test and Interview. Finally there will be Medical Examination Test.
