Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is recruiting 1317 candidates from the State of West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Orissa, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh for the post of Constable (Technical/ Tradesmen) in trades – Driver/ Fitter / Bugler / Tailor / Brass Band / Pipe Band/ Cobbler / Carpenter / Gardener / Painter / Cook / Water Carrier /Safai Karmachari / Barber / Washer Men (Male/Female). Qualification norms and brief details is given below—
STATE WISE VACANCIES—
1. WEST BENGAL : 105 (Males only)
2. BIHAR: 144 Nos. (Males) and 67 Nos. Backlog Vacancies (Males/ Females)
3. JHARKHAND: 60 Nos. (Males/ Females)
4. ODISHA: 141 Nos. (Males/ Females)
5. Uttar Pradesh: 231 Nos. (Male/ Female) and 54 Nos. Backlog Vacancies (Males only)
6. UTTARAKHAND: 16 Nos. (Male only)
7. MADHYA PRADESH: 307 Nos. (Male/ Female)
8. CHHATTISGARH: 122 Nos. (Male/ Female)

Qualification Required: Madhyamik pass or equivalent.
Trade Qualification: —
For Driver: Should posses Transport Vehicle Driving licence.
For Fitter: Must have ITI or equivalent trade certificate in relevant trades.
For Other Trades (such as – Bugler / Tailor / Brass Band / Pipe Band / Cobler / Carpenter /Gardener / Painter / Cook / Water Carrier / Safai Karmachari / Barber / Washer Men): Candidates must be proficient in respective trades.
Age Limits: between 18yrs to 23yrs as on 01/08/2012. Upper age relaxation is as per norms.
Physical Standard –
For Male Candidates (General): Height—170cms; Chest (Unexpanded/ Expanded) : 80/85cms, Weight—Proportional to Height and Age.
For Female Candidates (General): Height—157cms; Weight—Proportional to Height and Age.
Application fee: Rs.50 is to be paid in form of Indian Postal Order (IPO) or Demand Draft or Banker’s Cheque in favour of concerned DIG, Group Centre, CRPF.
The fee and Application should be addressed to the concerned DIG of the State (Please refer the Advt. for list of Addresses).
How to Apply: Apply on prescribed application format or prepare the same on plain full-scap paper. Enclose 2 Nos. Self-addressed envelopes (4”x9”) with affixed postal stamp of Rs.22/-. Do not enclose any testimonials or documents with application form. verification of documents will be in due course.
Superscribe the top of the application form containing envelope with – “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF CONSTABLE (TECHNICAL/TRADESMEN) – 2012”
The date and venue of Selection process will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course (probable date – 10/12/2012). Verification of testimonials, Physical Efficiency Test (PET) , Written Test, Trade Test and etc will be from 27/12/2012 to 01/02/2013.
