The vacancies are under Central Surveillance Unit of Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme under National Health Mission at National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). The candidates will be appointed on Contract basis initially for a period of One (01) year, subject to further extension of the program. 1. CONSULTANT (EPIDEMIOLOGIST)
No. of Vacancies: 06 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) MBBS recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI) with MD (PSM/ Community Medicine)/ MD (CHA)/ MD (Tropical Medicine) recognized by MCI or DNB (Social and Preventive Medicine/ Community Medicine).
OR
ii) MBBS recognized by MCI with Masters of Public Health (MPH)/ Diploma in Public Health (DPH)/ Master in Applied Epidemiology (MAE)/ Diploma in Health Administration (DHA) from recognized University along with 02 years of experience in Public Health after post graduate qualification.
OR
iii) MBBS recognized by MCI with EIS Training Course Certificate.
Age Limit: Maximum 60 years
Consolidated Pay: Rs.75000 — Rs.85000 per month.
2. CONSULTANT (MICROBIOLOGIST)
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) MBBS with MD/ DNB in Medical Microbiology/ Lab Medicine.
OR
MBBS with Post Graduate Diploma such as D.Bact./ Virology with 01 year experience in clinical laboratory services.
OR
M.Sc. in Medical Microbiology with PhD with 02 year experience in clinical laboratory services.
ii) Must be Proficient in Computer Applications (MS- Word, Excel and Power Point), email and internet.
Age Limit: Maximum 60 years
Consolidated Pay: Rs.65000 — Rs.85000 per month.
3. COMMUNICATION OFFICER
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Post Graduate degree in Mass Communication or Journalism with at least 03 years experience.
OR
Post Graduate diploma in Mass Communication or Journalism with 05 years experience.
ii) Proficient in computer and media applications.
Desirable: i) Experience in undertaking similar assignments preferably in health/ social sector.
ii) Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills.
Age Limit: Below 45 years
Consolidated Pay: Rs.49500 per month
4. STATISTICIAN-CUM-PROGRAMMER
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc./ Post Graduate qualification in Statistics/ Mathematics or Master in Population Studies with essential experience of IT Data Management in a health/ Social sector.
Experience: Minimum of 04 years’ experience in any public health programme preferably in Disease Surveillance.
Age Limit: Below 40 years
Consolidated Pay: Rs.30000 per month
5. DATA PROCESSING ASSISTANT
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Graduate with at least one year Diploma in Computer Application.
Experience: Minimum 05 years’ experience preferable in Health Sector.
Age Limit: Below 40 years
Consolidated Pay: Rs.19000 per month
The vacancies are under Central Surveillance Unit of Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme under National Health Mission at National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
