PARLIAMENT OF INDIA, RAJYA SABHA SECRETARIAT IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR THE POSTS OF CONSULTANT INTERPRETERS. LAST DATE — 22/07/2019
CONSULTANT INTERPRETERS
Educational Qualification: i) Graduate from a recognized University with knowledge of Kannada/ Konkani/ Marathi language and (ii) Ability to interpret simultaneously (orally translate) from Kannada/ Konkani/ Marathi to Hindi/ English.
Age Limit: Minimum 25 years. There is no maximum age limit.
Pay: Rs. 2500/- to Rs. 6000/-.
The vacancies are in Rajya Sabha Secretariat.
The selected candidates will be imparted one-and-a-half to two months Training in Simultaneous Interpretation. The candidates will be paid Stipend of Rs. 10,000/- per month to non-Govt. Servants and Rs. 6,000/- per month to Govt. Servants during Training.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Oration Test and Simultaneous Interpretation Test (SIT) in Kannada/ Konkani/ Marathi.
