Cordite Factory, Aruvankadu, The Nilgiris, is inviting application for 194 posts of Trained Graduate Teacher (English/ Mathematics/ Social Science/ Science), Multi Tasking Staff, Storekeeper, Lower Division Clerk, Supervisor, CPS, Durwan and Storekeeper. CORDITE FACTORY, ARUVANKADU, INVITES APPLICATION FOR 194 POSTS OF TRAINED GRADUATE TEACHER (MATHEMATICS, ENGLISH, SOCIAL SCIENCE, SCIENCE), STENOGRAPHER, SUPERVISOR (NT) LDC, ETC. LAST DATE —

 

1. Chemical Process Worker (Semi-skilled): 140 posts. (UR—58; SC—30; ST—1; OBC—51).
Qualification: Matriculation plus NAC/NTC issued by NCVT in the relevant trades, viz. – Attendant Operator Chemical Plant, Instrument Mechanic. Chemical Plant, Mechanical Maintenance Chemical Plant, Laboratory Assistance Chemical Plant, Fitter General, Machinist, Turner, Sheet Metal Worker, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, Boiler Attendant, Mechanic Industrial Electronics & Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic.
Age: Between 18 to 32 years.

 

2. Multi Tasking Staff: 23 posts. (UR—13; SC—4; OBC—6)
Qualification: Matriculation pass or equivalent
Age: Between 18 and 25 years.

 

3. Durwan: 12 posts. (UR—6; OBC—3; SC—2; ST—1)
Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent and must be physically fit – Height: 165cms; Chest (unexpanded/expanded): 77/82cms; Weight: minimum 45kgs.
Age: Not more than 27 years and not less than 20 years.

 

4. Storekeeper: 05 posts. (UR—2; OBC—2; SC—1)
Qualification: 10+2 and basic knowledge of computer application have “O” level certificate as per DOEACC
Age: Not less than 18 yrs and not more than 27yrs.

 

5. Lower Division Clerk: 06 posts. (UR—3; OBC—2; SC—1)
Qualification: Class 12 pass or equivalent and should have ability to type 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on computer.
Age: Between 18 and 27 years.

 

6. Supervisor (Non Technical): 2 (UR)
Qualification: Degree in any discipline and should have “O” level computer certificate as per DOEAC
Age: Not more than 27 years.

 

7. Stenographer: 1 (UR)
Qualification: Class 12 pass and should possess speed of 80 words per minute in Stenography (English or Hindi)
Age: 18 – 27yrs.

 

8. Trained Graduate Teacher (Mathematics): 02 posts (UR—1; SC—1)
9. Trained Graduate Teacher (English): 01 (UR)
10. Trained Graduate Teacher (Social Science): 01 (UR)
11. Trained Graduate Teacher (Science): 01 (OBC)

Educational Qualification for TGT: Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR Graduation with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PH) and 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
OR Graduation with at least 45% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PH) and 1 – year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PH) and 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed.)
OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed).
AND Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET), to be conducted by the appropriate Government in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
Desirable — Competent to teach both in Hindi or English and medium of instruction of the instruction of the School.
Age: Not more than 30 years.

 

Upper age relaxation — Age mentioned above will be calculated as on last date of receipt of application. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; Widow/Divorced women/legally separated women – 05yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Domicile of J&K—05yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

 

Selection of the candidates will be through Written Examination and Trade Test/Practical Test (whichever applicable). Exact date and venue will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course.

Examination Fees: Candidates must pay Examination Fee of Rs.50/- by means of Demand Draft drawn in favour of The General Manager, Cordite Factory, Aruvankadu, payable at Coonoor or Udhagamandalam (Ooty). Candidates are required to write their name and date of birth on the back side of the demand draft.
CANDIDATES BELONGING TO SC/ST, PWD, EX-SERVICEMAN ARE EXEMPTED TO FEE PAYMENT.
