Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi invites online application for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET)- 2020 for selection of Teachers. Candidates who intents to become Teachers for Classes I to V (Primary Stage) and Classes VI to VIII (Elementary Stage) may appear in the examination. Eligible and interested candidates may apply Online only through the official website of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi (See link given below). CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION (CBSE), DELHI INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR CENTRAL TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST (CTET)- 2020 FOR SELECTION OF TEACHERS. LAST DATE — 24/02/2020

 

CENTRAL TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST (CTET) 2020

Educational Qualification:
i) For becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage:-
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 02- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 02- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 04- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 02- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed).

 

ii) For becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage:-
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 02-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 01- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 01- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 04- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 04- year B.A/ B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/ B.Sc.Ed.
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 01- year B.Ed. (Special Education).
OR
Any candidate having qualified B.Ed. Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/ CTET.

 

NOTE: Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks in the minimum Educational Qualification for eligibility will be allowed to the candidates belonging to reserved categories, such as SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD.

Candidates who intents to become Teachers for Classes I to V (Primary Stage) and Classes VI to VIII (Elementary Stage) may appear for Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) examination.

 

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Central Teacher Eligibility Test. The test will be conducted in two papers i.e., Paper-I (For classes I to V) and Paper-II (For classes VI to VIII). The candidates who intents to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II). The Examination for both Paper-I and Paper-II will be held on 5th July, 2020 at various centres across India. For more details please see the Official Advt.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Examination Fee of Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates) for only Paper-I or Paper-II; Rs.1200/- (Rs.600/- for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates) for both Paper-I & Paper-II. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking OR can be paid through Bank by means of fee payment Challan. Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official website of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi. See released advertisement for more details.

 

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates may apply online only through the official website of Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi — https://ctet.nic.in (See Application form’s link given below) from dated 24/01/2020 to 24/02/2020.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION (CBSE), DELHI AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
