Chittaranjan Locomotive Works, under Ministry of Railways, West Bengal, is recruiting for two vacancies against Cultural Quota in Group ‘C’. Eligible candidates may apply on prescribed Application Form within 31-12-2013. Employment Notice No. GMA/RS/11/9-C – 2012-13. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria is given below in brief –
Cultural Discipline—
1. Vocal Music: 1 Nos.
2. Dance: 1 Nos.
Qualification: Madhyamik pass (50% marks in the aggregate will be required for NTPC categories 50% marks are not required for SC/ST candidates and for candidates having higher qualification)
Professional Qualification:
Vocal Music: Degree/ Diploma / Certificate in Music
Dance: Degree / Diploma / Certificate in Dance
Desirable: Candidates who have performed in AIR/ Doordarshan or have won Prizes at National level were desirable (not compulsory)
Age Limits: between 18yrs to 30yrs as on 01-01-2013.
Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Practical Demonstration and on basis of talent in the relevant cultural discipline. Total marks – 100 marks.
Date and venue of selection process will be intimated in due course through the website of CLW.
Application fee: For General and OBC candidates; Rs.50 in form of Indian Postal Order (IPO) or Demand Draft or through Cash receipt issued by CLW, in favour of — “FA&CAO, Chittaranjan Locomotive Works, Chittaranjan, payable at Chittaranjan/SBI/Chittaranjan”.
SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman / Minorities and economically backward candidates requires no Application fee.

Candidates should enclose copies of all certificates, duly attested by a Gazetted Officer, in proof of Cultural achievements, educational qualification, age, SC/ST/OBC status etc as well as two Nos. passport size photographs (one copy in attested should be pasted on the form).
