1. Ex-ITI Trade Apprentices: 140 Nos.
Educational Qualification:Â Trade wise vacancies are as follow:-
- Fitter: 35 posts.
- Turner: 07 posts.
- Welder: 06 posts.
- Mechanic Motor Vehicle: 15 posts.
- Electrician: 20 posts.
- Machinist: 15 posts.
- Carpenter: 05 posts.
- COPA (Computer Operator and Programming Assistant): 25 posts.
- Draughtsman: 10 posts.
- Auto Electrician: 02 posts.
Essential Qualification: Ex- ITI candidates should be passed out from the Institute duly recognized by NCVT duly covered through Gazette Notification of Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, with minimum two years duration except for the WELDER (G&E) and COPA Trade. Welder (G&E) and COPA should possess one year ITI certificate recognized by NCVT.
Candidates appearing/ appeared in the final examination of the essential qualification are also eligible to apply based on their original admit card of the essential qualification examination, duly verified by the Establishment authority. Such candidates have to submit a certificate from principal of the Institute, where from he/she had studied.
Stipend:Â Rs.7767/- per month for Welder and COPA and Rs.8166/- per month for rest of all trades, per month.
Candidates’ Selection:Â Selection of the candidates will be made on the basis of the performance during personal interview.
Selected candidates will be on training. Duration of training is one year.

Application Fee:Â Candidates must pay Rs.30/- as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Crossed Postal order drawn in favour of The Director, CVRDE, Avadi Chennai.
