Gorkhaland Territorial Administration (GTA), Darjeeling Pulbazar Development Block AND Project Implementing Agency, is inviting application from the eligible candidates for Watershed Development Team Member (WDT Members) in — Livelihood, Social Welfare, Micro Enterprise and Engineer under Integrated watershed Management Programme (IWMP-9/2012-2013) at Darjeeling Pulbazar Development Block under Sadar Sub-Division, Darjeeling. DARJEELING PULBAZAR DEVELOPMENT BLOCK, BIJANBARI. & PROJECT IMPLEMENTING AGENCY (P.I.A) INVITES APPLICATION FOR WDT MEMBERS (LIVELIHOOD, SOCIAL WELFARE, MICRO-ENTERPRISE AND ENGINEER). LAST DATE – 26/11/2014
1. Watershed Development Team Member (Livelihood): 1 No.
Qualification: Graduate in Agriculture/Forestry/ Plant Science/Animal Science
Desirable — Knowledge in computer application, data entry etc.Practical experience in NRM/Watersheds.
2. Watershed Development Team Member (Social Welfare): 1 No.
Qualification: Degree in rural Development/Social Welfare/Social Science/Agriculture Economics
Desirable — Practical experience in NRM/Watersheds/Rural Development Projects
3. Watershed Development Team Member (Micro-Enterprise): 1 No.
Qualification: Graduate in Commerce/Economics/Rural Management
Desirable — Computer application, Data entry etc and experience in maintenance of accounts.
4. Watershed Development Team Member (Engineer): 1 No.
Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering
Desirable — Computer application, Data entry etc. and Practical experience in NRM/Watershed Management.
Note: Preference will be given to the eligible candidates having residence within the watershed area or nearby area. Applicants should preferably will be conversant in Nepali.
Candidates having experience in Watershed Management/Natural Resource Management will be given due preference
Age Limit (For all posts): Maximum 45 years
Monthly Remuneration: Rs.10,000/- per month plus travelling allowance of Rs.1200/- (fixed) per month.
The engagement to the above said posts will be purely temporary on contractual basis initially for one year at Watershed Development Team (WDT) under Integrated watershed Management Programme (IWMP-9/2012-2013) at Darjeeling Pulbazar Development Block under Sadar Sub-Division, Darjeeling. Contractual period may be extended further on basis of performance of candidates and or requirement in the project and or on sole discretion of Authority.
The selection of the candidates will through Interview. Date and venue will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course.

Knowledge of computer is desirable. Preference will be given to candidates residing within or nearby areas of the Project.
