1. MEDICAL OFFICER- DTC
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) MBBS or equivalent degree from recognized Institution.
ii) Must have completed compulsory rotatory internship.
Preferential Qualification: i) Diploma/ MD Public Health/ Tuberculosis & Chest diseases.
ii) One year experience in RNTCP work.
iii) Basic knowledge of Computers.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.45,000/- per month.
2. MEDICAL OFFICER- MEDICAL COLLEGE
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) MBBS or equivalent degree from recognized Institution.
ii) Must have completed compulsory rotatory internship.
Preferential Qualification: i) Diploma/ MD Public Health/ Tuberculosis & Chest diseases.

3. SENIOR MEDICAL OFFICER- DR TB CENTRE
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) MBBS or equivalent degree from recognized Institution.
ii) Must have completed compulsory rotatory internship.
Preferential Qualification: i) MD Respiratory medicine/ Internal Medicine/ DTCD/ MD Community Medicine/ Diploma/ CHA/ Masters in Public Health.
ii) Basic knowledge of Computers.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.45,000/- per month.
4. SENIOR TREATMENT SUPERVISOR
No. of Vacancies: 05 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Bachelor’s degree in Science.
ii) Permanent two wheeler driving license.
iii) Certificate course in Computer Operations (minimum 02 month).
Preferential Qualification: i) Tuberculosis Health Visitor’s recognized course.
ii) Govt recognized Degree/ Diploma in Social work or Medical Social work.
iii) Successful completion of basic training course (Govt. recognized) for Multipurpose Health Workers.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.15,000/- per month.
5. SENIOR TB LABORATORY SUPERVISOR
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Bachelor’s degree in Science.
ii) Diploma or certified course in Medical Laboratory Technology.
iii) Permanent two wheeler driving license.
iv) Certificate course in Computer Operations (minimum 02 month).
Preferential Qualification: One year experience in RNTCP.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.15,000/- per month.
6. LAB TECHNICIAN
No. of Vacancies: 28 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Intermediate (10+2) and Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology.
Preferential Qualification: i) One year experience in RNTCP or sputum smear microscopy.
ii) Candidates with Higher qualification (for example Graduate) will be preferred.
iii) Certificate course in Computer Operations (minimum 02 month).
Consolidated Pay: Rs.10,000/- per month.
7. TB HEALTH VISITOR
No. of Vacancies: 09 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) 10, +2 and MPW/ LHV/ ANM/ Health worker/ Certificate.
ii) Certificate course in Computer Operations (minimum 02 month).
Preferential Qualification: Training course for MPW (MPHW).
Consolidated Pay: Rs.10,000/- per month.
8. DATA ENTRY OPERATOR
No. of Vacancies: 03 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) 10+2 with Diploma in computer application recognized by the Council for Technical Education/ DOEACC.
ii) Typing speed of 40 w.p.m in English and Tamil.
iii) Should be well conversant with various Computer programming including MS Word, Excel and simple statistical packages.
Preferential Qualification: At least one year experience in related field.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.10,000/- per month.
9. COUNSELOR DRTB CENTRE
No. of Vacancies: 04 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Graduate (Degree in Social Work/ Sociology/ Psychology).
Preferential Qualification: i) Masters Degree/ PG Diploma in Social Work/ Sociology/ Psychology.
ii) Experience in RNTCP or worked as counselor.
iii) Basic knowledge of Computers.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.10,000/- per month.
10. ACCOUNTANT
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos.
Educational Qualification: Graduate in Commerce.
Preferential Qualification: i) Familiarity with audit in a recognized Society or Institution.
ii) MBA/ PGD in Financial Management.
Experience: i) Two years of experience in maintenance of accounts on double entry system in a recognized Society or Institution.
ii) Experience in working with Accounting software for at least 02 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.10,000/- per month.
11. DR-TB CENTRE STATISTICAL ASSISTANT
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) Graduate with Statistics as allied subject.
ii) Diploma in Computer Application from recognized Institution.
iii) Typing speed of 40 w.p.m in English and Tamil.
iv) Should be well conversant with various Computer programming including MS Word, Excel and simple statistical packages.
Preferential Qualification: i) MBA/ PGD in Financial Management.
ii) One year experience in RNTCP.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.19,000/- per month.
The vacancies are under Public Health Department. The candidates will be appointed on Contractual basis for a period of Eleven (11) Months.
