ICMR-National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis (NIRT) is recruiting eligible candidates for 05 posts of Project Technical Officer (MSW), Consultant (Medical), Scientist D (Medical) and Data Entry Operator (Grade A). The vacancies are for different Projects implemented by ICMR-National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis (NIRT). The candidates will be appointed on Contractual basis initially for a period of One year, which may be renewed subject to satisfactory performance of the candidate and project requirement. 1. PROJECT TECHNICAL OFFICER (MSW)
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (Chennai- 01, Vellore- 01)
Educational Qualification: Graduate in Social Sciences/ Social Work/ Sociology/ Medical Sociology/ Psychology/ Anthropology from a recognized University with 05 years’ work experience from a recognized Institution or Master’s degree in Sciences/ Social Work/ Sociology/ Medical Sociology/ Psychology/ Anthropology.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.32,000/- per month.
2. CONSULTANT (MEDICAL)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (Chennai)
Educational Qualification: Professionals with MD or Ph.D in General Medicine/ Chest Medicine/ Pharmacology/ Microbiology and published papers.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.70,000/- per month.
3. SCIENTIST D (MEDICAL)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (Chennai)
Educational Qualification: Post Graduate Degree (MD (Pharmacology/ General Medicine/ Social and Preventive Medicine)/ DNB (Pharmacology/ General Medicine/ Social and Preventive Medicine)) after MBBS with 05 years’ experience.
OR
Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Science after MBBS with 06 years experience.
OR
MBBS Degree recognized by MCI with 08 years experience on Medical Science after MBBS degree.
Age Limit: Maximum 45 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.67,000/- per month.
4. DATA ENTRY OPERATOR (GRADE A)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (Chennai)
Educational Qualification: i) Intermediate or 12th Pass from recognized Board.
ii) Data entry speed of 8000 key depressions per hour on Computer.
Age Limit: Maximum 25 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.17,000/- per month.
The vacancies are for different Projects implemented by ICMR-National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis (NIRT). Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable as per Govt. norms.
