The vacancies are under the project “Protecting and improving public health Globally: Building laboratory,Surveillance and workforce capacity to detect,respond to and prevent drug resistant TB in India” implemented by ICMR- National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis. The candidates will be appointed on Contractual basis initially for a period of Ten (10) months, which may be renewed after every specific period of time subject to satisfactory performance and project requirement. 1. DATA ENTRY OPERATOR (GRADE B)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (OBC)
Educational Qualification: Intermediate or 12th Pass in Science stream from recognized Board with DOEACC “A” level from a recognized Institute and/ or 02 years experience in EDP work in Govt., Autonomous PSU or any other recognized organization.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.18000 per month.
2. DATA ENTRY OPERATOR (GRADE A)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (SC)
Educational Qualification: Intermediate or 12th Pass from recognized Board.
Age Limit: Maximum 25 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.17000 per month.
3. SCIENTIST B (NON MEDICAL)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: 1st Class Master’s Degree in Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology/ Genetics/ Genomics/ Molecular Biology/ Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Computer Science/ Information Technology from a recognized University with 02 years of working experience.
OR
Candidate with 2nd class Master’s Degree in the above mentioned subjects must have completed Ph.D in relevant subject with the required experiences.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.48000 per month.
4. PROJECT TECHNICAL OFFICER (LAB)
No. of Vacancies: 02 Nos. (UR-01, OBC-01)
Educational Qualification: Graduate in Life Sciences from a recognized University with 05 years experience from a recognized Institution or Master’s degree in Life Science.
Desirable: Candidates with earlier working experience on BSL3 laboratory handling of M. tuberculosis are preferred.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.32000 per month.
5. PROJECT TECHNICIAN III (LAB)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (OBC)
Educational Qualification: 12th Pass in Science subjects and two years Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician or one year DMLT plus one year required experience in a recognized organization or two years laboratory experience in Govt. recognized organisation.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.18000 per month.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable for SC/ ST/ OBC/ Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
