ICMR-National Institute of Virology (NIV), Bangalore Unit is recruiting eligible candidates for 06 posts of Project Technician-C (Lab), Project Data Entry Operator (Grade-B) and Project Technical Assistant. The vacancies are for Ad-hoc Research Projects of ICMR-National Institute of Virology (NIV), Bangalore Unit. The candidates will be appointed on Contract basis initially for a period of Six (06) Months and further continuation/ extension will depend on tenure of the project and performance of the candidate. ICMR-NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF VIROLOGY (NIV), BANGALORE UNIT WILL CONDUCT WALK-IN-WRITTEN TEST/ INTERVIEW FOR 06 POSTS OF PROJECT TECHNICIAN-C (LAB), PROJECT DATA ENTRY OPERATOR (GRADE-B) AND PROJECT TECHNICAL ASSISTANT. WALK-IN DATE — 14/08/2019
1. PROJECT TECHNICIAN-C (LAB)
No. of Vacancies: 04 Nos.
Educational Qualification: i) 12th Pass in Science subjects.
ii) Two years Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technician or related subject or One year DMLT plus one year experience or two years field/ laboratory experience (B.Sc. degree will be treated as 03 years experience).
Desirable: i) B.Sc./ M.Sc. Microbiology/ Biotechnology.
ii) Work experience in diagnostic laboratory/ Cell Culture/ ELISA/ PCR/ sequencing.
iii) Knowledge of Computer Application/ report preparation.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 14/08/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.24,500/- per month.
2. PROJECT DATA ENTRY OPERATOR (GRADE-B)
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (UR)
Educational Qualification: i) 12th Pass in Science stream.
ii) DOEACC- ‘A’ level and/ or 02 years experience in EDP work in Government, Autonomous, PSU or any other recognized organization.
Desirable: Any Graduate with DCA with experience of Data Entry and Administrative works.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as on 14/08/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.24,500/- per month.
3. PROJECT TECHNICAL ASSISTANT
No. of Vacancies: 01 Nos. (OBC)
Educational Qualification: Graduate (three years degree) in Life Science with 03 years work experience OR Master’s Degree in the above subiect.
Desirable: i) B.Sc Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ MLT.
ii) Work experience in diagnostic laboratory/ Cell Culture/ ELISA/ PCR/ sequencing.
iii) Knowledge of Computer Application/ report preparation.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years as on 14/08/2019.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.31,000/- per month.
The vacancies are for Ad-hoc Research Projects of ICMR-National Institute of Virology (NIV), Bangalore Unit.
