DCSEM IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 46 POSTS OF SCIENTIFIC ASSISTANT (HORTICULTURE/ MECHANICAL/ CIVIL) AND TECHNICIAN (ELECTRICAL/ PLUMBING/ MASONARY/ CARPENTRY). LAST DATE — 21/09/2015
1. Scientific Assistant/B (Horticulture): 01
Qualification: B.Sc in Horticulture with a minimum of 60% marks.
2. Scientific Assistant/B (Mechanical): 01
Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks.
3. Scientific Assistant/ B (Civil): 09
Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks.
4. Technician/B (Electrical): 10
Qualification: Minimum 60% marks in SSC or HSC with Science and Maths as subjects plus Trade certificate of not less than one year duration in the Trade of Electrical
5. Technician/B (Plumbing): 05
Qualification: Minimum 60% marks in SSC or HSC with Science and Maths as subjects plus Trade certificate of not less than one year duration in the Trade of Plumbing
6. Technician/B (Masonary): 15
Qualification: Minimum 60% marks in SSC or HSC with Science and Maths as subjects plus Trade certificate of not less than one year duration in the Trade of Masonary
7. Technician/B (Carpentry): 05
Qualification: Minimum 60% marks in SSC or HSC with Science and Maths as subjects plus Trade certificate of not less than one year duration in the Trade of Electrical
Age Limits:
(i) For Scientific Assistant/B: Minimum 18 years and maximum 30 years
(ii) For Technician/B: Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years.
Upper age relaxation for reserved categories and others will be as per Govt. norms.
Pay Scales:
(i) For Scientific Assistant/B: Rs.9300-34800 plus Grade Pay Rs.4200
(ii) For Technician/B: Rs. 5200-20200 plus Grade Pay Rs.2000
Candidates’ Selection: Selection for the post of Scientific Assistant/B will be through Personal Interview and for the post of Technician/B will be through Trade Test and Personal Interview.
