DEFENCE ESTATES, NORTHERN COMMAND, IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 13 POSTS OF SUB-DIVISIONAL OFFICER, GRADE-I AND SUB-DIVISIONAL OFFICER, GRADE-III. LAST DATE — 30.01.2016
1. Sub-Divisional Officer, Grade-I: 08 Nos. (GEN-04, OBC-01, SC-01, ST-01, PH-01)
Educational Qualification: Degree in Civil Engineering Or Diploma in Civil Engineering and at least 03 years experience in the respective field.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and must have not attained 32 years as on 30.01.2016
Pay Scale: Rs.9300/- Rs.34, 800/- and Grade Pay Rs.4200/-
2. Sub-Divisional Officer, Grade-III: 05 Nos. (GEN-01, PH (HH)-02, EXservicemen-02)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or Equivalent Diploma or Certificate of a registered/recognized institute in surveying/Draftsmanship (Civil) of not less than 02 years.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and must have not attained 27 years as on 30.01.2016
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay Rs.2400/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relax able by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test / Skill Test and will be held at Jammu.

Examination Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.100/- as Examination Fee. Fee can be paid through Demand Draft drawn in favour of Principal Director, Defence Estates, Northern Command, Jammu Cantt., payable at State Bank of India, Satwari Branch, Jammu.
NO EXAMINATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC, ST AND WOMEN CANDIDATES.
