DEFENCE ESTATES, CENTRAL COMMAND LUCKNOW CANTT, IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 04 POSTS OF JUNIOR HINDI TRANSLATOR AND HINDI TYPIST. LAST DATE — 15/07/2016 (31.07.2016 for far flung areas)
1. Junior Hindi Translator (Group “C”): 03 Nos. (Gen-01, OBC-01, PWD-01)
Educational Qualification: Master Degree in Hindi / English as a compulsory / elective subject or as medium of examination at degree level
OR Master’s degree in any subjects other than Hindi/English with Hindi and English as compulsory/elective subject or either as a compulsory/ elective subject at degree level.
OR Master’s degree in any subjects other than Hindi/ English with Hindi/English medium and English/ Hindi as compulsory/elective subject or as medium of examination at degree level.
OR Bachelor’s degree with Hindi and English as compulsory/ elective subject or either of the two as medium of examination and the other as a compulsory/elective subject plus recognized Diploma/Certificate course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa or two years experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in Central/State Govt. of India undertaking.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-30 years
Pay Scale: Rs.9, 300/- Rs.34, 800/- and Grade Pay Rs.4, 200/-
2. Hindi Typist (Group “C”): 01 Nos. (PWD (VH) -01)
Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent examination.
Candidates must have typing speed of 25 wpm in typewriting in Hindi.
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum- 27 years
Pay Scale: Rs.5,200/- Rs.20, 200/- and Grade Pay Rs.1,900/-
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test and Skill Test. Written Test for both the post will be held at Lucknow (UP)
Exact Date, Time and Venue for examination/interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates in due course as well as such information will be also available in the notice board of the company.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay Rs.50/- as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Demand Draft drawn in favour of Principal Director Defence Estates Central Command, Lucknow Cantt, payable at State Bank of India.
