Educational Qualification:
i) For Civil Engg, Mechanical Engg, Instrumentation Engg, Electrical Engg, Computer Science & Chemical Engg discipline:- Minimum 2nd class full time diploma in respective discipline from recognized Institution. For SC/ ST- diploma in respective discipline from recognized Institution.
ii) For B.Sc with Chemistry discipline:- B.Sc with Chemistry with minimum 40% in aggregate. For SC/ ST- B.Sc with Chemistry.
iii) For LLB discipline:- Degree in Law with minimum 40% marks in aggregate.
iv) For Hotel Management discipline:- Degree in Hotel Management with minimum 40% marks in aggregate.
v) For Welder, Fitter, Machinist/ Turner, Diesel Mechanic & Plumber trades:- 10th passed, ITI (NCVT/ SCVT) in respective trades (02 years regular course).
vi) For B.Com with Accountancy discipline:- B.Com with Accountancy as a subject with minimum 40% in aggregate. For SC/ ST- B.Com with Accountancy.
vii) For BA/ MA with Mass Communication as a subject discipline:- BA/ MA with Mass Communication as a subject with minimum 40% in aggregate. For SC/ ST- BA with Mass Communication.
viii) For MBA (Marketing) discipline:- MBA with specialisation in Marketing Management.
ix) For Diploma in Fire Engineering discipline:- Diploma in Fire Engineering with minimum 40% in aggregate. For SC/ ST- Diploma in Fire Engineering.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and no upper age limit.
Consolidated Pay: Rs.12200 per month for ITI holders and Rs.17000 per month for Post Graduate/ Diploma Engineer.
The candidates will undergo One year apprenticeship training under the Apprenticeship Act-1961 at Numaligarh and Guwahati in various Trades/ Disciplines.
Candidates who passed out the qualifying examination more than 03 years ago, are not eligible to apply.
Candidates’ Selection: The candidates will be selected based on the percentage of marks in the qualifying examination.
