Delhi Judicial Service Examination — The High Court of Delhi is going to hold Delhi Judicial Service Examination on 1st June,2014. Total vacancies are to be filled through this examination is 80 Nos. Eligible and interested candidates may on prescribed application format within prescribed dates (See below). Educational Qualification norms and brief details are given below —

Delhi Judicial Service Examination—2014. 
No. of vacancies to be filled: 80 Nos. (Gen—55; SC—08; ST—17). Out of total vacancies, 2 vacancies are reserved for PWD (Blind/ Low Vision) candidates. 

Educational Qualification: LL.B. degree or other equivalent law degree

Age Limit: Not more than 32 years as on 01/01/2015. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

Selection Steps: For screening of candidates, Preliminary Examination will be held which will be of multiple objective type questions carrying maximum of 200 marks.
In the Preliminary Examination, questions on general knowledge and aptitude of the candidate, candidate’s power of expression, flair in English, knowledge of objective type legal problems and their solutions covering Constitution of India, Code of Civil Procedure, Criminal Procedure Code, Indian Penal Code, Contract Act, Partnership Act, Principles Governing Arbitration Law, Evidence Act, Specific Relief Act and Limitation Act will be included.
Candidates qualifying the Preliminary Examination will be called for Main Written Examination and Viva-voce. For complete details and syllabus, please go through the officially released advt. (See URL given below)

How to Apply: Interested candidates may obtained the Application form including DJSE Registration Form from the Filing Counter of Delhi High Court.
Application form can be also obtained by sending a self addressed envelope of 38 cm X 25 cm size with postage stamp of  Rs.90/– affixed on it along with Demand Draft of Rs. 600/- for General Category candidates and  Rs.100/- for SC/ST/PH candidates, addressed to — Joint Registrar (Vig.), Delhi High Court, New Delhi.
Superscribe the Envelope in bold letters – “DJS EXAMINATION 2014”.
The demand draft / pay order should be drawn in favour of ‘Registrar General, Delhi High Court, New Delhi’ payable at New Delhi.

Submission of Application Form: The duly filled Application form and DJSE Registration Form should be sent by Speed Post/ Registered Post only at the following address — Joint Registrar (Vig.), Delhi High Court, Sher Shah Road, New Delhi – 110 503

Last Date of Application: The application shall reach the above address on or before 24/03/2014 (by 4PM) 
Applications can also be submitted personally at the Filing Counter of Delhi High Court on any working day, during office hours, till 24/03/2014.
