Delhi Police is recruiting 95 Inspector/ Sub Inspector (Computer), Asst. Sub Inspector (Radio Technician/ Shorthand Reporter), Head Constable (Store Clerk) and Constable (Buglar/ Band man/ Mounted). Interested and eligible candidates from any States may apply on prescribed application format with last date. Qualification norms and eligibility criteria is given below —

DELHI POLICE REQUIRES 95 INSPECTOR, INSPECTOR/ SUB INSPECTOR (COMPUTER), ASST. SUB INSPECTOR (RADIO TECHNICIAN/ SHORTHAND REPORTER), HEAD CONSTABLE (STORE CLERK) AND CONSTABLE (BUGLAR/ BAND MAN/ MOUNTED). LAST DATE: 11/06/2013

1. Inspector (Computer): 1 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Master degree/ M.Tech/ BE / B.Tech/ Degree in Computer Application/ Computer Science.
OR Degree/ Master degree in Engineering/ Electronics/ Electronics and Communication with experience OR ‘A’ level Diploma under DOEACC programme with experience/ PG diploma in Computer application under University programme/ Post Polytechnic diploma in computer application with experience.

Age: Maximum 32yrs.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300- 34800 and Grade pay: Rs.4600/-

2. Sub-Inspector (Computer): 3 Nos. (Gen—2; SC—1)
Qualification: Degree in Computer Application/ Computer Science OR Electronics/ Electronics and Communication with One year of experience in Data processing work including experience of actual programming. OR ‘A’ level Diploma under DOEACC programme with one year experience OR  PG diploma in Computer application under University programme/ Post Polytechnic diploma in computer application with experience.

Age: Maximum 32yrs.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300—34800 and Grade Pay: Rs.4200/-

3. Asst. Sub-Inspector (Radio Technician): 41 Nos. (Gen—21; OBC—16; SC—1; ST—3)
Qualification: Matriculation with Science and Mathematics and 3yrs diploma in Electronics/ Communication. Candidates with higher qualification may also apply.
Age: between 20 to 27 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.9300—34800 and Grade Pay: Rs.4200/-

4. Asst. Sub-Inspector Shorthand Reporter (Hindi): 2 Nos. (Gen)
Qualification: Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with Hindi Shorthand speed—80 words per minute and 25 words per minute in Hindi typing speed.
Age: between 18 to 25 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2800

5. Head Constable (Store Clerk): 17 Nos. (Gen—9; OBC—2; SC—4; ST—2)
Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent with science or equivalent and minimum 2 years practical experience in the field of radio strores work procedure including indenting, accounting, payment of bills/ returns, etc and thorough knowledge of radio/ electrical/ electronics spare parts and indenting Radio spare parts.
AND English Typing speed of 30words per minute or Hindi Typing Speed of 25 words per minute.
Age: between 20 to 27 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2400/-

6. Constable (Buglar) (Male only): 10 Nos. (Gen—6; OBC—3; ST—1)
Qualification: 10+2 (Senior Secondary pass)
Age: between 18yrs to 21 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2000/-

7. Constable (Band Man) (Male only): 10 Nos. (OBC)
Qualification: 10+2 (Senior Secondary pass)
Age: between 18 to 21 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2000/-

8. Constable (Mounted) (Male only): 11 Nos. (Gen—00; OBC—8; SC—1; ST—2)
Qualification: Matriculation/ Higher Secondary for fresher. Class IX pass for Bandsmen, drivers, despatch riders, etc and Son of serving, deceased, retired police personnel including category ‘D’ employee of Delhi Police.
Age: between 18 to 24 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.5200—20200 and Grade Pay: Rs.2000/-

N.B: For eligibility criteria such as physical standards, Physical Efficiency Test requirement, please refer the officially released Advt. (live url is given below).

Upper age relaxation: Age will be counted as on 01.01.2013. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; Ex-Serviceman and Others – As per norms.

The Application form shall be neatly typed as per format on plain A4 size paper.
The application form along with enclosures, in attested copies in support of eligibility, and a Bank Draft of Rs.100/- drawn in favour of – DCP, Recruitment Cell, Delhi, shall reach the below address by Ordinary Post .
SC/ST and Ex-Serviceman candidates are not required to pay Application Fee.

Online Application: Application form can be also filled Online from the official website of Delhi Police (live url given below). 
After submitting the Online details, candidates must print-out the system generated Registration slip and then send it to Post Box No. 8020, New Delhi—110033 after completing the required formalities e.g. affixing a recent photograph, putting signature in the space provided and attaching the Demand/ Bank Draft/ Banker’s cheque of Rs.100/- in the name of the DCP/ Recruitment Cell, Delhi.
