INDO-TIBETAN BORDER POLICE FORCE (ITBP) INVITES ONLINE APPLICATION FOR 06 POSTS OF DEPUTY JUDGE ATTORNEY GENERAL (DEPUTY COMMANDANT). LAST DATE — 18.09.2019
1. DEPUTY JUDGE ATTORNEY GENERAL (DEPUTY COMMANDANT)
No. of Vacancies: 06 Nos. (UR-02, SC-01, ST-01, OBC-01, EWS-01)
Educational Qualification: i) Bachelor degree in Law from recognized University or equivalent with 07 years experience in Legal practice or Master degree in Law with 05 years experience in legal practice.
ii) Should be qualified for enrollment as an Advocate.
Desirable: i) A post graduate Degree in Law from recognised University or equivalent.
ii) Two years experience in dealing with trials under special laws related to Armed Forces.
Age Limit: Maximum 40 years as on 18.09.2019.
Pay Scale: Rs.67,700-2,08,700/-
Note: PWD candidates are not eligible to apply for the above post.
The candidates will be appointed on Temporary basis likely to be Permanent. The selected candidates will have to undergo Combatised Basic Training and such other courses as prescribed in the Force from time to time.
Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category. Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.
Physical Standards:
(i) Male Candidates: Height — 165 cms; Chest (unexpanded) — 81 cms; Chest (expanded) — 86 cms.
(ii) Female Candidates: Height — 157 cms.
Note: Weight should be proportionate to height and age as per prescribed standard.
Candidates must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and should possess high colour vision. They must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect likely to interfere with the efficient performance of the duties.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of candidates will be through Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), Document Verification, Written Examination, Interview (Personality Test) and Medical Examination.
