1. Assistants: 18 Nos. (Gen—10; OBC—04; SC—02 & ST—02) Out of total vacancies 02 posts reserved for PH candidates.
Educational Qualification: First Class Graduate from a recognized university.
Experience: Candidates should have working knowledge of MS Office.
Age Limit: Maximum 30 years.
Pay Scale: Rs.10780/- to Rs.26410/- per month.
2. Management Trainees: 08 Nos. (Operations/Technical/Material/IT/HR) (Gen—05; OBC—02 & SC—01) Out of total vacancies 01 post reserved for PH candidates.
Educational qualification as per discipline wise are as follows—
(i) Operations:
Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering OR M.Tech (Dredging & Harbour Engineering) with 60% marks.
(ii) Technical:
Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Mech.Marine/Electronics & Instrumentation with 60% marks.
(iii) Material:
Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Production Engineering/Mech Marine with 60% marks.
(iv) Information Technology (IT):
Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (CS/IT/ECE) OR MCA/M.Sc (Computer Science) with 60% marks.
(v) HR:
Educational Qualification: PG Degree OR PG Diploma in HR/Personnel Management/IR with 60% marks.
Age Limit (for Management Trainees): Maximum 30 years.
Consolidated Pay: During the period of training, the candidates will be paid of Rs.30000/- per month. After successful completion of the training, candidates will get paid of Rs.16400/- to Rs.40500/- per month.
Age Limits & Relaxation: The age mentioned above will be counted as on 31/05/2015. Upper age relaxation for SC/ST – 5yrs; OBC- 3yrs; PWD- 10yrs; and Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.
Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test, Computer proficiency test (wherever applicable) and Interview. Candidates who will qualify the written examination will be called for Interview.
